Mistress Goody

By Keith McDonald

Mistress Goody was a witch from Series 4 of Knightmare who described herself as the "hostess with the leastest".

Mistress Goody was a witch with a cockney accent and a magical broom for sweeping.

The crone spent most of her time cleaning the room used by Malice and Hordriss for their rituals.

Goody

Mistress Goody was a minor character in the mould of Mrs Grimwold from the previous series.

She sometimes loitered in the background as the dungeoneer met Hordriss or Malice in Level 1. Malice is irritated by her and expects her to work faster.

By the final quest of the series, Goody is left to guard Merlin in the stocks and chases the team away.

Minutes later, she appears before the moving walkway tunnel as a 'travel guide'. After refusing to take a fare, she sends them down a travelling corridor and the team must improvise to escape.

Actress Erin Geraghty said the character was known in scripts as Goody Badwife.
