Raptor

By Keith McDonald

Raptor was a bandit recruited by Lord Fear to lead his charge and replace Skarkill. Dim and superstitious, Raptor was not the success that Fear hoped for.

Raptor replaced Skarkill as Goblin Master from Series 7.

He initially patrolled with the two goblins, Grippa and Rhark. In Series 8, he patrolled with Miremen.

Any last requests, ey? Begging for mercy?

Raptor

Raptor, the brigand, as played by Cliff Barry in Series 8 of Knightmare (1994).

Raptor wore a bandana and had a west-country accent in the style of a pirate.

Lord Fear frequently refers to his time at sea, and his stupidity. "I think being on dry land has addled your brains," he says.

Like Skarkill, dungeoneers had to use various means to overcome Raptor. They used a range of magical items, including a bolt-firing crossbow. One dungeoneer turns into a black cat, which frightens him off.

Smirkenorff also comes to the rescue, scorching the noisy brigand with a fireball.

Though Raptor failed to catch any dungeoneers, he did manage to catch Romahna. Thankfully for the Dragon Warden, a dungeoneer intervened to send him packing.
