Mogdred was the dark side of Merlin and the principal 'opponent' to a successful quest during the early years of Knightmare.
Clue rooms allowed teams to choose objects that would help them survive the level. The Level 1 rooms were guarded by wall monsters.
Treguard the Dungeon Master was the host of Knightmare. He presided over the gameplay from an antechamber in Knightmare Castle.
