But it also can be free. That's why I'm using it, at least. And for some reason we use Geocities, when it is a pile of goblin's excrement.

On the site update itself, which I finally just read through, I do like the Eye Shield and Helmet of Justice that someone made for Hallowe'en. They look very nice indeed. I assume whoever it is also made a Reach Wand but was so disgusted at the horror of the concept and its boring application that jumped up and down on and destroyed it. How I wish someone else had done that back in 1994.

Martin of s3 wouldn't have put up with it.
"It's useless, this. If I want to reach I can use my arm."
I would use freeserve but only my home computer can use that at the moment.
And what good is free when it's useless and doesn't work? Grumble grumble etc.

Nah! Geocities is good, you can cut and paste things in unlike others where you have to code it in and make a total complete and absolute fool of yourself...
If the only way is onward how would you get home for tea??

Freeservers is cut and paste too, silly man! And you can fiddle with the code if you like, too - this is what I do and end up screwing up my site for at least a week >:(

Motley has a point. I've used Geocities as well, and its a lot better than most other freebie web design packages.

Re: When's the next site update?
To end my part in this debate, Freeserve wins because it measure data transfer by the month, not the hour.
So you could actually see my website (which contains effectively a gallery) on Freeserve about 40 times a month, unlike seeing 1/3 of it at a time.
Or I could reduce the quality of my cartoons...

Re:Website update?
It's only usually updated when a new issue of TES is available. The May issue will be slightly delayed as the editor is having a few minor technical problems.

Nov 06 Site Update
Just to let everyone know that there will be a slight delay with the November 2006 site update. I have all the materials ready however due to a house move the update is being delayed. I hope to have the new issue of TES etc up by the end of the month.
