Does this imply that the letters for that particular competition (The 1990 compo) have been burnt into the master copy for that particular episode? Must be the case if they're on the Challenge showings. Were the letters for the 1989 competition on the Challenge reruns as well did anybody notice? I believe they were on the Sci-Fi rerun.BillyH wrote: Childrens ITV page: "The competition involved watching out for letters appearing throughout a Knightmare episode, making up a word (like the 1989 competition)." The letters were 'NAMEHERBLADE' (as confirmed by the Challenge repeats).
Seems a bit silly to burn the competition entities in on the master like that because it'll make no sense to anybody else who hasn't seen the CITV section of this site which explains what they are and why the teams didn't acknowledge these odd letters coming out of nowhere. Would have been better to have done it on a copy ultimately for CITV transmission and then put the "clean" version into the vault which Sci-Fi and Challenge picked up.
Sidriss' site timed out due to Freeserve/Wanadoo policy; after 90 days no access on PAYG its suspended, after 260 its deleted.Links page: KM & Sonic, Richard Howse's webpage, Pooka Times, the sausagenet entry, the ClassicGaming link and Sidriss Starshine's webpage no longer appear to exist.
Pookie's site still exists. It just moved, I dunno if he told everybody. I buggered off
I archived an early copy of that, I have the entire site as it was of November 13th, 2000. All links are hardcoded and point back to angliatv.co.uk. I might donate it.FAQ: "An official Knightmare site was launched in November 2000 by the angliatv.com web team, as part of their 'Anglia Gold; section. It can be found at angliatv.com/angliagold" Website has now unfortunately disappeared.
