Re: PICKLE
I used to fancy him too when I was about nine. I think that that's why I can't remember much about any other series' besides series three as I spent most of the time watching Pickle in the other ones. I also don't remember the last two series' either!

Re: PICKLE
It looks weird now after seeing series 4. Even though there aren't that many changes, the set looks so different.
Strange really, the little elf can get annoying sometimes, but you miss him when he's gone ;D

Hmmmmm
And it's just not as lively as it was/will be with Pickle I'd grown very fond of his jumping around and getting excited whenever there was a goblin/drawbridge/assasin/talking tree around.
It's just not the same without him...

Re: PICKLE
I was only 10 when Pickle appeared in Knightmare, but I thought he was a good addition to the show. Of course I didn't fancy him, I was only a kid but he did make me laugh (I think he's cute now, though!). I couldn't believe it when Majida replaced Pickle - I missed him! And I missed his sayings like: "It sees master, it sees!", "To the forest of Dunn the foolhardy come" and "Root and fen, master!".
My first series was Series 3 so I was too young to decide whether I liked the old or new format when they changed it in Series 4. I suppose that I'm more used to the new format so I guess I prefer it. I never saw Series 1 or 2 so I can't really comment on them, but I do enjoy the clips from them that are on the site.

Re: PICKLE
Treguard wore some odd bronze paint in season 3, and he definately seemed more...human, in season 4, definately the arrival of Pickle helped aid that change.
I prefered Treguard on his own, especially in season 3, but have nothing hugely against Pickle or Majida, either

Re: PICKLE
Yes, his face was a profoundly strange colour in Series 3.
I have to say that I preferred Treguard on his own. I much preferred the start of episodes with just Treguard- I felt they were often a little flat afterwards, and then a little... strange when Majida arrived. Sometimes Pickle helps to create atmosphere, but particularly in Series 4 the antechamber scripts were a bit too repetitive for my liking. When Treguard repeated himself I didn't mind as much, but when a whole conversation is exactly the same as the one an episode ago, it feels a bit too fake for me.

Re: PICKLE
Series 4 was far too precisely scripted, I prefered the more random Season 5 for the Treguard/Pickle banter.
It isn't a good thing when you can guess what Pickle is going to say next...There must be a reason for it.
Maybe I should get an interview w/ TC, then we can get some of these questions answered.
