Re:Scariest Monster?
The hobgoblin's appearance in S3 was terrifying, although that was partly because of Treguard's clamorous announcement of it. The medusa was very scary once I realised the sheer enormity of what she could do.

Catacombite for me - the first (and biggest) I ever saw. I'd love to see those make a comeback.
Subject to change.

Re:Scariest Monster?
The catacombite was indeed very scary, at least it was at the time. The noise and the size of thing was rather...nasty.

Simply Ariadne. For no purpose other than she was a giant spider. She may not have had a constant huge effect to the programme but she terrified me!

Mr Grimwold never scared me at all for some reason, although Ariadne, in S4 especially, was rather nasty. The Wispy Wit wrote: Ariadne because she's well, huge, and Mr Grimwold! Freaked me out when i was little!
I'd say Assassins were pretty nasty too, with all of the tension built around them. The actual teams tended to look rather scared, to boot.

It does indeed induce nightmares, very nasty nasty creature indeed.
I wonder if it was Mogdreds pet...
I found Fetsus a bit scary at the time, amusing, yet you never knew how dangerous he could be, or if he'd suddenly leap on screen and kill the dungeoneer.

Re:Scariest Monster?
That's probably just as well that we never saw him then.
What about those crunching, munching noises though :o. I used to be scared of the goblins but probably moreso the warning siren. I think I used to dream about quests and that the siren kept going, like they were constantly being followed.Pipmuk wrote: Ariadne
