Re:Hi!!

Hello there Angelordevil! Knightmare is pretty much the only show that genuinely excites. I think people who can't appreciate that are mad. Sadly, Coronation Street and Big Brother (representing all 'adult' TV) have no X-factor. They promote rigormortis instead. Comedy shows are an exception. Anyway...

Re:Very exciting times

The world of Knightmare is a very healthy place. It's beyond belief some of the cool stuff that is going on.
To be honest, I thought the oppurtunity to see Knightmare again was unlikely. But the prospect of a new Knightmare in serious development is unreal. Who'd have thunk it?

Re:Knightmare VR?  I don't like the concept!

The key thing is to make the viewer care about the dungeoneer, whether they are real or avatar. It is a concern, but Televirtual know what they are doing. If they can create suspense it will work.
I'd like to see a slight step-up in the gore factor. That'd bring in the viewers!

Re:New Knightmare clip!

I have already downloaded them, but I couldn't get them to play. I haven't tried all that stuff yet Moana, so I'll give it another go.

Re:Series 8, Episode 10

Indeed. A solemn occasion.
Do you think Knightmare should have ended with a death, or a win? I'm all for a death I'm afraid. A really grisly one, a final Oooh Nasty to mark the show as one of the toughest around.

Re:Series 1, Episode 1 - The Beginning

Another three days? If you can wait seventeen years to see series 1, you can wait another three days.
Never mind, you still have the delights of the last EVER episode of Knightmare to cherish.

Re:Which Series is best??

Favourite series usually stem from nostalgia. Series 2-4 hold most nostalgic value for me, although I love them all. Favourite has to be series 2 - it's pure back-to-basics classic stuff. Least favourite is series 7. I thought some of the plots were a bit predictable, and the same sequence of rooms ...

Re:Another KM idea

In principle it's an excellent idea. Perhaps they could be statues of winners instead, but with a twist. Some of them could be Lord Fear's fakes that become animated.

Re:New Knightmare clip!

This is absolute torture! I haven't seen anything of this KMVR stuff in motion. Lord Fear and Lissard clips? I'll just assume it's good.

Re:Challenge Announcement

To Moana Liza: If challenge keep continually showing them as they are (Monday to Friday), I figure series 1 ends on Wednesday 16, series 2 beginning Thursday 17.
I don't think they'll wait for a new week to begin series 2, but I'm not 100%

I have to say Sleegol, you are the funniest Helmet-Queen I've never heard of. Welcome to Knightmare land. I rarely bow to any but Treguard, but just this once *bows*. Welcome indeed!

Re:Channel 5

One thing that Knightmare has that virtually no other programme has is that it always ends on a cliffhanger. It has a unique formula with which to snare a viewer.

Watchers always want to know what happens, and that was probably one of the main reasons people tuned into it to begin with.

Re:That damned life force....

I agree. Some of the deaths you never forget, and seeing them again you can see why.
Has anyone noticed that most of the deaths in series three involve falling off of things? The ones that don't (a lightning bolt to the head/captured by goblins) were the ones I remembered best.

Re:Channel 5

If it does go to a terrestial channel, I'd like to see BBC2 pick Knightmare up, because I think it'll be most likely to find a niche there.
It's the alternative channel these days. In my opinion, C4 is rapidly losing greatness. Big Brother is the main instigator.

Re:Challenge Announcement

This news is amazing. It is unbelievable. The world of Knightmare has taken another step towards enlightenment.

Challenge? have basically given us five series in one go. Beyond generous. Many, many thanks.
