Exactly.

Unless they found a 50ft tall woman to play Malice in the final confrontation.

Or a 9ft Merlin in Level 3, series 3...

Maybe they hired Daryl Hannah to play the part since she has starred in a film relating to that height....  ;D

Perhaps what the site needs is an "Anorak's corner" where all of KM's dullest and most arcane statistics can be listed. Y'know the sort of thing, how many dungeoneers died by falling from a great height, how many quests were to claim the sword, how many times did Treguard so "Oooooo nasty"or "Oh dear, what a pity" throughout the series? That way, when people come onto the forum and ask an obscure question that no one has a hope of being able to answer without spending several days trawling through video tapes, we can just refer them to Anorak's corner.

We'd have to trawl through the tapes anyway to find the stats...so I hope people would be willing to help!

Why not!  Any excuse to go through the old classic quests! ;D
There are but 2 rules in this realm:-

Number of quests that ended in a death from a great height:

Series 1 = 1 (Team 2)*
Series 2 = 2 (Teams 6 and 11)*
Series 3 = 5 (Teams 3, 4, 5, 6 and 9)
Series 4 = 2 (Teams 4 and 7 both Block and Tackle)
Series 5 = 3 (Teams 1, 5 and 6 all causeway)
Series 6 = 3 (Teams 1, 3 and 6 again, all causeway)
Series 7 = 2 (Teams 1 and 3 both Play Your Cards Right)
Series 8 = 1 (Team 3)

TOTAL = 19

*All deaths in Series 1 and 2 were at the hands of Lillith.

Explains why there were no winners, then.

I always thought the room where you had to step diagonally up-left (or you fell to your doom) was a bit too tough. Especially as I think it was used in level 1.

The room witht the really long thin path at the start of level 3 was too tough as well. It was getting difficult to see at the back whether the dungeoneer was still on the path or not.

And then of course the magic room incident. Not many people turn 180 degrees then float to the bottom of the screen like you became a flower. In real life, too.

Three greatest Knightmare deaths

3. Dungeoneers being blown up

2. Being zapped by the opposition (e.g Martin's Death from s3)

1. Stupidity

He's smarter than your average Opposition.
