Season 6/ living in the past?
The amount of references the the early knightmare episodes.. ? (1-3)
Grimworlds
Merlin
The season 2 question
I'm sure there are others,
but still kinda surprised that Merlin is still known as the wizard of the dungeon, were the hell is he then?

One of Hordriss's questions to Team 6 was about 'alchemy' apparently (stumped me!), and a similar question was asked by Igneous in Series 2.

yes, thats the point, that life force clock was only used at that time in season 6, when they brought in the new one, So a reference to the early series.. small but still.

Re:Season 6/ living in the past?
Series 5-6 were where Knightmare essentially 'came of age'. The technology at the time (before the full CGI) had progressed about as far as it could go and the all the various gameplay elements, IMHO, were about as well balanced as it was gonna get.
Who's to say that Knightmare hadn't started to realise that they had a 'cult' show on their hands? 6 years run with no visible sign of stopping (@ the time)? The various references to classic quests are probably a 'tip o'the hat' to the loyal fans that followed from the beginning.

There are but 2 rules in this realm:-
1) He who sees first is the winner...
2) He who is seen first is toast...

Indeed Snowcat, Indeed
I'd like to say that Series 6 was one of Lord Fear's best years.

The above reasons show why S6 is my fave. And YES I would say Lord Fear is especially good this year, the plots are more detailed and I love the mines of gore. The whole great causeway sequence looked stunning.
It's only a game, isn't it?

Totally agree with all you said. For me, s6 was Lord Fear's finest. Will never forget the 1st episode and the moment Matt entered the Dwarf tunnel. I was blown away and felt s6 was going to be amazing. - it was!ClaireFearsBlades32 wrote:The above reasons show why S6 is my fave.
