I know this will get cliché...
Yes, I know this whole 'nice forum' thing is going to get very very very repetitive, but... I like it. Very good, very nice, good for the community, I want to spend for ever and ever and ever here.
Nothing left to say.
Um... here endeth the lesson. Good board, Nicholas/Illusion.

Re: Welcome
Ohh, it really is a lot Knicer. Well done.
My only regret is that the username can't be one letter longer, so I could be Grimaldine Grimwold, "sometimes of the grey, but always of the green, dearie. Shurrup Festus!"

Re: Welcome
Hope being the operative word. ;D
It's gonna take off like the old KM forums did. I just guess we won't get that many one-off posters and odd people who swing by to say "like the site" and stuff.
But more real discussion discussions.
Not that I'm going to start one right here of course.

Re: Welcome
Wull, most of the old forum's regular posters seem to have taken up residence already.
It'd be great to have several threads running. I'm having trouble thinking of new ideas, things that weren't discussed on the old forum. I wonder what we should do about the old forum topics. Recycle them? Or just try to deal with wholely new things. I guess some new visitors won't have had the chance to discuss the "classic" debates, but I guess for a lot of others, everything that could be said was said a long time ago.
I guess there's always "Who was your favourite goblin? Grippa or Rhark". Personally, I thought the characterisation of Rhark was much more convincing. Grippa seemed to be just going through the motions.
No, let's not go there.

Re: Welcome
Yea Kool Forum. Better than the last one. The last one's layout was quite difficult to use.
e.g. Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah
Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah
Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah
Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah
That layout was v.annoying.

Re: Welcome
Just thought I'd say, a week on, how great the new forum is. Looking through the threads is just so much easier, and I think there are several new people posting, which is fabulous.
I'm quite surprised at just how many people can be on the forum at a time. Sometimes over 10, including guests. Most encouraging. The number of people visiting the site, but not getting as far as the forums, must be much higher still. Very cool.
Well done again to Nic for all his hard work. Sorting the forums out might come at the ideal time, with the likelihood of more people visiting after seeing the show on Challenge.
