Knightmare Theme Guitar Tab
The_Axis has a guitar tablature of the Knightmare theme tune. I am wondering if anyone here might know more about guitars can suggest any improvements to this before it is up on the site.

Re: Knightmare Theme Guitar Tab
Illusion, the copy+paste has knacked up the tab.
This is how it should have looked:
http://www.olga.net/dynamic/browse.php? ... htmare.tab - It's a version that I posted recently.
The one I had sent to you is a bit neater than the OLGA version. The melody is correct, but the middle bit may be slighly off. Sounds decent enough.

Re: Knightmare Theme Guitar Tab
I attempted MANY years ago when I could play the piano (cant now due to bad bad fingers)
I managed the S4-5 theme OK, but never got any further.

Re: Knightmare Theme Guitar Tab
I recently got around to trying the guitar tab- well, the version that's linked rather than that which was originally on this site. Yes, it's pretty good. As I think The_Axis posted, the middle bit sounds slightly odd, but the start and end are absolutely spot on. Really accurate, in fact. The odd sounding bit might be less to do with the tab than my bad playing or slightly out of tune guitar, however. I think I can see how it's supposed to go- I'll experiment a bit and mention to The_Axis (or Nic?) if I come up with anything.

Re: Knightmare Theme Guitar Tab
Thanks for you comments, Grimaldine.
I worked out that Tab from a video of KM series 1.
That's the only version of the tune I've got.
Looking at the KM clips page I'd guess each series'
intro music is slightly different - but I can't check them
out because I'm using a Library comp...
So, if the Tab does make it onto the site, it might
be worth noting that it's the 'series 1 theme'.

That would be good, could do some sort of power metal version of it.
No wait, that's a bit much.

Re: Knightmare Theme Guitar Tab
Not quite related, but since it's music I'll put it here!
I came up with an original theme for Treg's RPG (rejected!) I wanted to have lead break in it but didn't have the facilities at the time. I've now got a digital 4-track so I can. That'd improve it massively. If you're reading this, Treg, and are interested please contact me.

Subject to change.

Is it possible to put it up somewhere?

Re: Knightmare Theme Guitar Tab
I just spent a few minutes messing about with Modplug, and produced this - it's nowhere near finished (about 20 seconds long). The guitar tab helped a little (thanks), though it was a bit of guesswork as I don't actually know how to read tab.
It starts off with the intro, as you might expect, then adds the main theme for one pattern. After that I've added a second part to it, which isn't actually in the theme but I was interested to see how it sounded.
Should I continue, or just give up now and quit while I'm ahead? The next bit's going to be difficult to do in MIDI, so bear that in mind <¦-)
You'll probably have to copy and paste the link into the address bar, thanks to good old Angelfire.

KM Guitar Tab
i've just started to try and learn to play acoustic guitar and I am determined to learn to play the KM theme properly. It sounds a bit crap at the moment but it does resemble it somewhat!!!! i'll get there eventually...even if it kills me!!!

Re:KM Guitar Tab
Did you say you had the tab or are trying to learn the tune to note it down?
If it's the latter dya want me to have a go? I'm pretty good at picking things up like that.

Re:KM Guitar Tab
I think that the theme song is in C major, so it shouldn't be too difficult too work out!!
