Re: Oh...oh dear...
Good grief!
I only have a small library of these shows, as in a video containing 3 eps of Victor + Hugo, a DVD with 6 eps of Count Duckula, 40 of Dangermouse (so not that small, after all), but only 3 of Dreamstone (counting the first one as two)
But 48 eps of Knightmare! And growing (one hopes)

Re: Oh...oh dear...
They're only the first episode and the one with a balloon in (sorry I can't be more specific, it's been ages since I saw it).
I've also got a tape of 'Where's wally?', which isn't bad.

Re: Oh...oh dear...
As many of you probably know, Mike Batt, who wrote 'Better Than A Dream', also composed some less wonderful but better-known lyrics: 'Underground, overground, wombling free..'Dreamstone!
Better than a Dream
Stranger than my wild imagination
If it is real sensation
It's better than a dream...
Higher than the moon,
Hazy, like a beautiful illusion,
Crazy and in confusion:
It's better than a Dreeeeeeam!
What wonderful lyrics...

Re: Oh...oh dear...
It may be comparing a teapot to a fence post, but Dreamstone was wayyyy better than the wombles. Dreamstone didn't attack the pop charts with novelty songs, for one thing.
"Remember you're a womble!"
Actually I'm not. Sorry to waste your time, but I don't live in Wimbledon and I don't make the most of the things that I find.

Funny you should say that, I'm not a womble either. Is anyone here a Womble?

Well, after checking the Members list then no one has stated that they are a womble. I think there may be foul play going on here........

They could be shamefully hiding it as a dark secret never to be told...
But anyway.
I always liked 'Reboot' myself.

Re: Oh...oh dear...
I must confess, I travel both underground and overground, and I tend to make good use of the things that I find; but I'm told that doesn't necessarily make me a Womble. I'll took into taking a DNA test, just to be sure.
Enya's 'Orinoco Flow' is surely one of most refined Womble tribute songs ever.

Re: Oh...oh dear...
I tend to be known as a 'pack rat' and tend to collect useless things and storing them. So I could be a distant cousin of a Womble. I don't live in Wimbledon though.

Re: Oh...oh dear...
Wull, I have an uncle who was originally FROM Bulgaria. Does that count? Or would I have to get him to change his name to reflect that? I like Enya too, which is more evidence.
I don't think I am one though. All this making good use of the things they they find business was a sham, really. They just horded stuff for no good reason, which made Wimbledon Common a filthy stinking disease-ridden hellhole. Wimbledon Council came and exterminated them for the sake of public heath, the evil scheming little tramps.
