Re: The new KM episode is up!
Slightly amused by GrandDizzy's assertion that contestants should by middle class (counts me out then!) ;) Seriously though, you've made some good points GrandDizzy, and given probably the best review of the episode that I have read so far. I view the Geek Week episode as a sort precursor to future ...

Re: When Did Knightmare "Jump The Shark" For You?
I was never a fan of the dwarf tunnels. For me personally they didn't add any suspense and just interrupted the flow of play.
Have to agree on the painted backdrops - definitely the most atmospheric sets that were used - and striking works of art.

This is fascinating news! I just wonder if there is any way we could chase this up?

The bearded man sat with an elf in the ante-chamber gives out presents and shouts "Ho Ho Ho" instead of guiding the dungeoneer into the dungeon.

Re: An Adventure in Space and Time
I have never seen a Harry Potter movie, and that's the truth. 8-o I have seen clips and that's about it. Possibly the three biggest film franchise in the world and I've not seen a single movie from them. (Potter, LOTR/Hobbit and Star wars) In my humble opinion you are better sticking with Dr Who - ...

An Adventure in Space and Time
Even though I was a good few years away from being born at Dr Who's launch in 1963, I'm still really looking forward to An Adventure in Space and Time which I believe is due to air tomorrow. It's a 90 minute docu-drama focussing on the Hartnell era of the show.

Re: The Night of the Doctor
Here's Steven Moffat's latest quote on the numbering of the doctors: “I’ve been really, really quite careful about the numbering of the Doctors. He’s very specific, the John Hurt Doctor, that he doesn’t take the name of the Doctor. He doesn’t call himself that. He’s the same Time Lord, the same bein...

Re: The Night of the Doctor
I really enjoyed this. It was especially great to see a nod back to the old series with the Keepers of the Flame. However, I would rather have seen Paul McGann's Doctor in the 50th anniversary special than John Hurt's. Doesn't this also mean that Peter Capaldi will be the 13th Doctor? Am I right in ...

Re: Knightmare on Challenge at teatime
Part of the problem with Challenge's output is their constant repeats of the same series or episodes of their shows. However much of a fan of a show you are, there is a limit as to how often you can watch it in a year. Series 1 and 2 were great but have already featured on Friday nights, Saturday mo...

Re: Channel 5: Greatest Kids' TV Shows
So, which show would we all have got rid of to put Knightmare in? I'd dump Chorlton and the Wheelies ; never understood the appeal of that. It's worse than In the Night Garden . No - Chorlton is a legend! :D Personally I never liked SM:TV with Ant and Dec which featured very high up the list. Perha...

Re: Channel 5: Greatest Kids' TV Shows
I sort of kept an eye on this show (until midnight!) and didn't see a mention of Knightmare. I was channel hopping though. Surely our favourite show wasn't omitted from the list????
