Re: Series 3 - Episode 11

Team 9 were one of the most likeable and enthusiastic teams ever to take part in Knightmare. Altho they made several mistakes, they really looked like they were loving every minute of their quest and it was a real pity that it ended when it did. Dungeoneer Scott has also been a past contributor to ...

Re: Jedi Temple Challenge

Thanks for the recommendation Drassil. I have indeed now watched both episodes in the order you suggested, as Jedis themselves may indeed suggest that the path to full satisfaction may not be via the most obvious and straightforward route. Whilst not wanting to go into too much detail either in orde...

Might also be worth getting in contact with Paul Flannery.

As well as being Treguard in Knightmare Live, he has also done his one-man interactive peformance entitled The MMORPG Show.

Ah, we've finally made it to Ross's quest. This will eventually lead to the introduction of one particular character in the next episode... >:-]

2000AD Magazine: Survival Geeks - Crisis Of Infinite Nerds

I recently learnt that Knightmare was referenced in a recent edition of 2000AD magazine (thanks to Mr Flannery of Knightmare Live). This appears in issue 2179 in a section entitled "Survival Geeks - Crisis Of Infinite Nerds" and as well as Knightmare, references a few other cult UK TV show...

Re: Pseudo-3D Knightmare Game- A Work in Progress

Graphically, the Trial by Spikes is almost there, but I've still got a few constraints to overcome- we don't want dungeoneers running straight to the door between the 4th and 5th spikes! How is this coming along? I was thinking that if anyone tried to sneak their way past the 4th and 5th columns th...

Re: Series 2 - Episode 6

:question:Was it unique for a quest ending to coincide with the end of an episode, in mid-series? It does happen once more during Knightmare's run, in Series 6. I won't say any more than this as I don't want to give away too many spoilers. ;) Really enjoying your episode summaries, no doubt they wi...

Alec Westwood: Darkside of the Deen

Alec (a.k.a Folly/Gibbet) has recently started a new podcast series which explores Aberdeen's dark history. Topics explored include the typhoid outbreak of 1964, bodysnatching and the grim tale of the last man hanged in Scotland. Click here for further information on the podcast series All episodes ...

Re: Series 1

Gibbet the surly level 2 guard would have been a good character to retain and as actor Alec Westwood returned for series 2 as Folly, i am surprised that he wasn't given a few scenes as Gibbet as well. I had the pleasure of meeting Alec Westwood in person when I interviewed him for my 25th anniversa...

Cyberzone

I've been alerted to a full length episode of Cyberzone that is available online, should anyone wish to investigate.

The episode contains a somewhat different version of Play Your Cards Right as well as some floor puzzles, though sadly the latter does not involve causeways.

Re: Timebusters

Yes, I've just watched all three of the episodes in question.

The later episode has rather interestingly, an actress who appeared in Series 4 of Knightmare and an actor who appeared in Series 8 though the latter is sadly no longer with us.

I'll say no more... ;)

Re: KM Live Gamebook Playthroughs: Fridays @ 4.30pm

After spending the past few weeks attempting to navigate our way through The Labyrinths Of Fear, it is very likely we'll be moving on to Fortress Of Assassins tomorrow (it beat The Sorcerer's Isle in a poll for which gamebook next to play). I'm looking forward to this as the opportunities to win in ...

Re: Knightmare actor and Top of the Pops 1989

Thanks David, I found the video clip you were referring to. At one point Rayner is seen through a"spy mirror" (similar to the conversation between Greystagg and Heggaty in the last episode of Series 6), and then tries to steal the object of the song name in question, which also gives him a...

Thanks for the heads up on these David. I was able to locate the vids in question, one of them was largely helped by the inclusion of a certain spider in the title. 8)

Re: Fun and Games visiting Real-Life Knightmare Locations

Nice one, and I like how you've added the Pooka and causeway to the exact rooms used! I visited Dragon Hall when I was in Norwich for the Knightmare Convention a few years ago, perhaps when this lockdown is over I can go and visit some of the others. Thankfully there's a whole list and a link to a m...
