Re: Oh...oh dear...
Dreamstone was eye-poppingly good. Fun House was...'zany', but not as good as Knightmare (fairly obviously, otherwise I'd be on a Fun house forum now ;D) I even liked Bad Influence! However, even as a 10 year old boy, I knew 'Virtually impossible' was poor. The Tetris game in that was so horribly je...

I wish I could make any KM jokes up...the ones on this site are terrific, though!

Re: Usernames?
I assumed just about all the good character names had gone, so I just took a fairly poor pun...
Although I suppose with my name being Mark, I could always simply change it to "Mark Knight"

Re: Series 5 episode....urgh
Yes, the series 4 banter... Treguard: "Pickle, you've been around Dunkley Wood." Pickle: "Not for many years, master.... as I've already told you at least twice. Treguard: "Oh yes, so you have. Sorry, I'm a bit rusty at conversation, having been in this dungeon alone for almost 3...

Re: Challenge Viewing Figures
The thing is, once you start watching Gamesmaster again, you become hooked. Until series 3, that is. But that's another story. With Knightmare one simply becomes hooked forever. ;) Put Hugo Myatt and Sir Patrick Moore on Celebrity Poker! Or don't. ;D GG, is the figure of 100,000 for Knightmare a rec...

Or indeed just about all the outdoor scenes, from when I watched them on Challenge...
Hate the washed splurge of colour of the outdoor scenes in series 5 though. Oakley must have wondered what became of his purple domain, to a vomit colour (sorry, it's the best way I can describe it :-[).

Re: Unfair deaths
There's confusion, and then there's the Opposites thing with Merlin. I would have got one out of three right, judging by when I watched it. "Who didn't have to worry about the Ides of March?" Julius Caesar is the answer. ;) I believe this was the last one of the three, so it took me that l...

Re: Knightmare pc game
What sort of umber pc? a 20 zillion GB one by any chance (well maybe not quite that 'umber'). Anyway how do you get emulators like an Amiga one to work on the pc? Do you have to connect an Amiga to it? My dad got rid of all ours yonks ago, when we got our first pc because 1. he said we wouldn't use...

Re: Challenge Viewing Figures
Not bad at all, the most watched 'classic' programme (i.e. made before 2003).
I expect a challenge (o-ho!) from Gamesmaster, however. Those hours of Knightmare and GamesMaster on Challenge are the best ones man could have.

Re: Games
I recently played the demo of the game on an Amiga emulator (not as good as the real thing... ;)). I must say I really need instructions...2 minutes into the game I was confronted with goblins left right and centre. Despite my attempts to offer them a present, my party got beaten up and if there was...

Re: Series 5 episode....urgh
I LIKE series 5...more colourful than series 4 (mmm, purple and blue, with a spot of green and grey), crazy angled rooms (a knice technical feat introduced, e.g. password blocker rooms), introduction of the causeways...only the teams let me down. "How long is the arrow?" "It's about 4...

Being a Queen fan (as well as Knightmare, natch), I don't know what to make of that...let me think...
(Thinks like a password blocker...)

Out of the shadows
Hello. After lurking around the forum, generally being entertained for the past little while (I still love the "Oooh...nice tea!" joke ;D), I have decided to step boldly forwards. I believe the Helmet of Justice (or should that be HoJ?) will not be necessary here, as otherwise I'd type mea...
