Re: Challenge Viewing Figures

By starting rumours that 'watching Takeshi's castle gives you piles' or 'watching Knightmare helps cure all diseases'. I always find it difficult how accurately they can judge whether a programme accumulated 80,000 or 100,000 , given that BARB (excuse me! ;D) only go round asking a 1000 people which...

Re: Knightmare Cartoon Strips

I can assure you that, having tried the link, it's Geocities deciding that I'm getting something for nothing so they have shut it down for an hour. Sigh... :( (*Later...* well, I'll probably have to rejig the website and change the format of the piccies to be more 'Geocities friendly'. All this beca...

Re: Knightmare Cartoon Strips

Let's see what you lot make of this... http://uk.geocities.com/madowl2/a2.html Look for the two cartoons at the top (hopefully, at least; I've experienced problems with this website... :-/) It is a cartoon I drew when I was at sixth form high school early this year. Like all the cartoons I did (er, ...

Re: Has anyone noticed?(life force related)

That's another thing with s5...there's hardly any sound at all in the episodes...no funky s1-3 music-on-one-instrument (I assume), and I think there was some music in later series... But series 5 is so quiet...the lack of a heartbeat can make it feel..well...dead at times. Yet still absorbing the re...

Re: Usernames?

I shall mention it here, just to be on the safe side...

Although the name 'goodknight' was alright, I was surprised nobody had chosen this name (at least, I hope they haven't picked a variation on this name. If they have, I'll change it back). It sounds better and is of course more KM related.

Re: Knightmare on VHS

Great! I'll get it with my next-generation-Amiga computer, then sit at home and watch it while waiting for the new series of Gamesmaster, hosted (in a unique twist) by Patrick Moore, with Hugo Myatt as the Games Master. The new series of Knightmare would also be announced as starting in the year 205...

Re: Series 5 episode....urgh

I'm liking Pickle this series, I just didn't like the repetitiveness of him and Treguard in series 4.

No doubt he's even better in series 6.

Re: They would never say...

Dungeoneer: I can see the cup that heals! Treguard: Excellent team, now take it and exit through that door! Dungeoneer: Hold on, I can also see the sword, the crown and a lost maid! Treguard: Er, you just leave those for another dungeoneer. Dungeoneer: Why? I may as well take them all. Treguard: Wel...

Re: Knightmare on VHS

I'm in a lose-lose situation... 1. Buy a DVD Player fro  Aldi. Brilliant. Can watch films and programmes etc. on DVD at Uni, but can't play Knightmare coledction, which is on VHS. 2. Buy a cheap Video player. Able to watch some films and programmes (but without the nice extras) at uni, but won't be ...

Re: New KM on Challenge Schedule

Fiddle e-dee... >:(

Still, a 7pm slot means more prime time opportunity for more viewers to see it. Could simply be that Challenge thought, "This KM programme is really popular, move it to an A-grade time for maximum viewing figures."

I think that's the way it works.

Was the knight walking with bits falling off bad? I can barely remember it, but what I do know is that it was better than the cake thing.

Re: Out of the shadows

This could be interesting...who here hates Queen? Or is there an undeniable link between people who watch Knightmare and people who listen to Queen? ;D
