TimeGate status
Can somebody remind me what the current state of play is with Timegate? (About taking teams for audition, likely TV channel, etc)?

Re: TimeGate status
6 months on, I thought I'd bump this thread up. Has anyone heard anything about TimeGate? All seems to have been quiet on this front for a long while now. It might just mean work is ongoing, but it just seems strange to have no mention at all of it.
And yes, I posted this on a Sunday Knight partly because I realise beveryafraid quite often logs in and checks things on a Monday. I'm a sneaky old hag-wizard composite, I know.

You'll find out about TimeGate shortly folks, a decision needs to be made first.
I am referring to the interview.....It was one of the main questions.

*Watches a space, where an interview transcript may magically appear soon* :o

You'll just have to wait til Illusion updates this site. I think that it's best not to update it until the other inteview transcripts come back. I hardly doubt the site will be updated until March time though, when the next edition of TES is up. There might also be knews on other stuff by then so who knows .

Re:Time Gate
There won't be any news on Timegate until after the destiny of Knightmare VR is known.

Re:Time Gate
From what I gather, TimeGate has been set aside for now until the KM VR series has been fully developed. Hopefully after that we will see the TimeGate series, but I certainly think KMVR would be getting the priority...

Re:Time Gate
If the new Km is a success then people will be hungry for more of the same and will therefore turn their attention to TimeGate.
Subject to change.

TimeGate
So, Knightmare VR's been shelved. Ok. Good try anyway.
But, er...aren't we all forgetting something here?
TimeGate.
This was the new big format Televirtual was working on before KMVR started. Meant to be an adult version of Knightmare, co-produced by Thames. An entire pilot episode was filmed, hosted by Tom Karol (who played Olaf & Mrs G in KM), and a trailer was available on Televirtual's website, which I never saw, and is now gone. More info at http://www.knightmare.com/knews/timegate/index.htm .
In his 2004 interview Tim Child said that TimeGate had been put on hold while work on KMVR continued. Well, now with KMVR gone...what about TimeGate? We've heard nothing since 2002. Surely now that the KMVR pilot has proved that VR can work, despite not getting picked up by any broadcasters, surely TimeGate still has a chance?
Any thoughts? I'd totally forgotten about it until just now.

Yep, I found it. (Eventually.)
If anyone has a way of ripping videos from YouTube, I'd be interested - we can get the trailer back!

Re:TimeGate
I have both the short and long versions of the trailer. I don't want to kill my bandwidth, so I've put the short version up at:
