*sniggers*
Well in History the other day, our teacher was rambling on a lot about the naval race and the Dreadnoughts. I kept having to remind myself that they were battleships, not robots with only one knee

Re: Unintended Knightmare references in our lives
As I remember it: the schoolfriend who sat next to me in Latin lessons once answered a Greek/Roman mythology question about Ariadne by talking about how Athene turned her into a spider. He wasn't correct (he'd been thinking of the myth of Arachne), and didn't realise what had let him to associate spiders with Ariadne. But I did. At the end of the lesson, I pointed it out to him and we talked about Knightmare.
I lost contact with him after we left school and learned that he died recently, so my memories of him are more valuable to me than ever.
