Another KM idea
This post is mainly for bva - hope he see's it - but i'd naturally love some imput from every1 else on it.
I've just had an idea for the new Knightmare, wouldnt it be cool to have pictures of the winning teams from classic KM displayed on the walls throughout the new dungeon (or maybe in one specific area) weve been told often enough about this "hall of fame" lets see it included in the greater game!
ok maybe not a crucial idea, but what do we think?
Steve
Ps: this cud probably have gone wiv the other thread on new KM but more ppl will notice it this way methinks.

Re:Another KM idea
Hmm, that'd be a nice touch I think. Mind you, those pictures might impinge on the ownership issues of the made programmes. In principal, though, I quite like that idea.
Subject to change.

Re:Another KM idea
In principle it's an excellent idea. Perhaps they could be statues of winners instead, but with a twist. Some of them could be Lord Fear's fakes that become animated.
I like my telly scary, and very dungeonish.

Re:Another KM idea
The champions of yore certainly deserve a mention (well - most of them do, anyway...). When Dunstan's pic was added to the Hall of Fame in series 8, I remember thinking that they should have pictures of the winners from series 2-8, but I think they just showed the rest of his team. It would be nice to have a complete Hall of Fame, with portraits added each time someone new won. A nod to the old winners seems appropriate.

Julie's and Barry's team from Series 7 were also visible.

Ah! I'll have to look out for that next time I watch series 8. I really liked Julie's team. Still, if they're going to include people from series 7, they should show every winner - even if they were from a team of 6 years before.

Re:Another KM idea
Maybe in the intro of the new KM a Hall of Fame could be used in a description of the dungeon and how it's come back, showing pictures down a corridor of all the winning teams
"The alarm, Master! The opposition's tracked them! Oh good grief...look - Lord Fear's frozen Christopher!"

Yes, a hall of fame like that would be an excelent idea - it would make winning even more special. And also link the old Knightmare with the new. I'm sure if asked, the winning teams wouldn't mind having their pictures used.

Re:Another KM idea
Problem is, they'd have to find them to contact them. That can be tricky.

Re:Another KM idea
Well, they've got to find 8 people - at least 1 or 2 have signed the guestbook on here already, so I don't think they'd be hard to track. Something can be arranged...

No, they'd need to find 32 people. The advisors would need to be found as well.

Re:Another KM idea
Sadly it is not a case of minding or not, you always have to have permission for those sort of things from what I gather.
I know a few of the winners, a few have drifted by who others may have contact with, but nowhere near the total of 32 who actually won (Dungeoneers and Advisors included). Would be one hell of a task.

But the chances are once they find 1 person, they'll be able to tell them where the other 3 are or at least give some idea.HStorm wrote: No, they'd need to find 32 people. The advisors would need to be found as well.
