Personally I can't help thinking that Barry's right leg was hit by the blade, even if the rest of him missed it.

I think he managed to ONLY JUST avoid it, allistairs tean (S4T2) definatly got hit because they did'nt go with the usual "right wall left wall" approach
why do we let these kids mess up our clean and tidy dungeon

Barry's quest is always going to be one of those situations we will never know. Like Geoff Hurst in '66 (though the ball did go over the line), Barry's blade will always be one of those where we will enver know. If he did actually get hit, does anyone know if there was another team standing by. there would not be much time to stop the troll at the seris end would there?

That is a very good analogy! All you need now is for a Russian linesman (or some kind of pasing wizard in level 3) to state that the blade did not slice Barry- and if it did, it wouldn't have hurt much anyway, as it would have just nicked him a little.

shall we take them to court over it?
get this sorted out formally!!!

ha ha!

CoB used to scare me- I didn't like the noises much (I was about 3 and tried to force myself to not watch the show, which was of course, impossible).

Me and my mate from primary school all them years ago (I'm now 18) wanted to build a balsa wood Knightmare castle with all the rooms in it including CoB- now I look back and think- Impossible!!

...So I have created a game that incorporates it. (see other topic..erm... you'll find it)

I agree with that- CoB was a very scary challenge, particularly in series 8 where the blood and the music made it even worse. Although this series has often been slated, you gotta admit that the way they built up to some of the scenes was well done. In team 2 (Daniel)'s quest, Treguard really plays the final scenes well. At the time I was well-scared!

yes, treguard is well played.
Hugo doesn't seem intimidating but when I was younger, Treguard seemed rather creepy and powerful!

Treguard is certainly intimidating in the first 2 or 3 seasons, but, while he always retains a delicious air of weirdness, he definitely loses his sinister edge as the years pass; he's quite the genial grandad by season 7, which is a bit bland.

another quote from scarkill:

Argh- get that pooka off me, please?
get it off me agh- I'll do anything...

...tht's one of the latest scenarios in my game at the mo.
type in 'puc', and a pooka floats towards and hovers around scarkill!!!

..then he drops a key, and you take it- silly!

The annoying team that was mentioned on earlier pages, was that the ones which couldnt make up thier minds about giving Elita a gem so cos they took so long, when they finally gave it to her she ran off without helping them! God they were an annoying team! Had to laugh when that happened! sorry its mean i know! Im nice really! lol
