Re: ...and a very merry Knightmare Christmas to yo

Ideas for presents...

CEDRIC - Some bread with soap mixed in it to clean that fowl tongue of his. ;D

LORD FEAR: A voodoo Dungeoneer doll!

MOTLEY: Some form of tether, so he can tie his folderoll (sp) to his wirst. Then he should stop losing it in the clue rooms!

Re: Knew Characters?

Well, if I could choose any character to come back, I'd want the guy who played Cedric (forget the name >.< ) to reprise the role - true, he'd probably be older and far more crotchety, but that'll just add to the character! :) But anyhow, as for me... I'd probably adapt my usual RP character Cull fo...

Re: Are there any contestants on the forum

Well, my brother did know one of the guys from S8 Team 1... thoughit's not as if they've been in contact since leaving school donkeys years ago, so that probably doesn't really count!

Re: Best Character in knightmare

Cedric, "the rudest & maddest monk in all of Christendom", always has been and probably always will be my favourite character. :) He's always been a particularly entertaining character, both in his usually rude "DOGSBOTTOM!" attitude and when he chooses to be a little different - the time he was ove...

Re: Characters that sucked in knightmare

I agree with a few of those. -  Skarkill owns Raptor about 20,000 times over. Plus he got himself a kill... lovely. ;D - McGrew was alright to me, but as Skarkill said he didn't get enough appearances to do much except be the cause of a lousy unfair death, and get turned into a Toad and chase away M...

Re: Series 5 Episode 16 (Mon. 24th)

I agree - good team, shame they didn't have the chance to get further. Though as is kinda expected with final teams, it did seem a little like things were geared towards them not being able to screw up whether they would have or not. Plus it got one of my favourite Lord F lines - "Treguard you idiot...

Re: Barry Topic

Definately! No-one in the team needed to be prompted at all. They had proper discussions out loud - none of this whispering "what shall we do?" and also the dungeoneer was involved in these discussions rather than just being a tool - it just seemed so natural to them. They were the first group that...

Re: Series 5 Episode 15 (Fri. 21st)

Yes... out of all the post-S1-3 seasons, S6 is my favourite, and I'll be overjoyed to see that back on the screens. :D *Continues to kick self for taping over his tapes of the original CITV episodes* >.< Porsmond - in regards to Duncan's death... I don't think having the other 2 advisors actually do...

Re: Quotes

Not necessarily an overall favourite, but I do like Skarkill's "Oh, this is very UNlovely" quibbles.

And Lord F's impersonations of him are absolutely top notch. :) Have to make a soundfile of the one on today's episode... that was just hilarious!

Re: Series 5 Episode 15 (Fri. 21st)

Hooray! We got our NTL line sorted out yesterday, so I could enjoy this episode. And enjoy it I did. :) "Where am I?" *BONG* Most amusing. :) Shame the death itself was a simple, boring "disappearing act", which Cull no like. New team don't look too bad (despite taking something from Sly - easy bad ...

Re: Later series being easier - what is the cause?

Big reason for longer quests/fewer dungeoneers? Eye shield sequences taking up half the bloody quests. End of argument. ;D Seriously though, there does seem to be an element of easiness/"dumbing down" in some later quests, where teams who would have died on (or barely escaped) Level 1 would make it ...

Re: Barry Topic

His quest is one I would certainly want to watch again. I do remember it (albeit not very well), and I do recall it being good... though I'm not sure whether I'd say he's the best or not. He does have a couple of rivals in my eyes. :)

Re: Post-KM Shock

Watch the episodes of Knightmare that I have on video  ;)
I dunno... we've been given a pile of the seasons on Challenge, and I still want to watch the epidoes I've taped off it or acquired from Treguard. :)

...what do you mean, "you really should get out more"?

Re: Series 5 Episode 14 (Wed. 19th)

Well, all I can say is "damn you NTL". For once I got up this morning in time to see the 10am showing of Knightmare AND not have something else on which my Dad wants the TV for... only to find we've been cut off. And I doubt we'll be up and running for the 7pm showing, so that's me scuppered for thi...

Re: Post-KM Shock

Being glued to the TV every Friday in the Autumns following Knightmare's axing in the dire hope that it's going to come back... that count for a symptom? :)
