Re:K.M.D.F Meeting

Suppose I could launch my entire body into a wall and call myself granitas ;) Anyway, I'd be willing to make an effort to get there (and pay), but it largely depends on where it is, and when it is. I'm concerned it may clash with something going on at uni. Also I'd have to rely on public transport (...

I must have missed that, might have been as I was on one of those spinning disc tours with headphones on. I wonder which exhibition room?

Re:You know you've watched too much knightmare when...

Perhaps you could ask Rothberry at your lunch meeting to try and solve my problem ;): As i've just been to the Tower of London, I kept imagining eyeshield sequences as I walked through archways and into different chambers. Some of which in fact would have made for good scenes in series 4 and 5! I re...

Re:Series 5 Episode 5

This team seem to have serious trouble decision making, advisors William and Helen (I think) tend to have very different ideas on what Sarah should do. Take the Hugh de Witless scene: William is certain they should not have much to do with Sir Hugh, and should just get the password and have done wit...

Re:Olympics?

The boatman- canoeing
Troll- the highjump (he'd barely need to lift his foot to clear a few metres)
Scott series 3- The long jump. Well, he proved he can leap quite a leap!
I agree with the pickle gymnastics idea as well. Can just see him smirking away.

Re:A new wave of KM jokes...

Here's a couple of rotten ones ;):

Why do Olgarth and Granitas never get on?
-Because their relationship is always on the rocks. ::)

Why could Treguard never get a job as a news reporter?
He couldn't resist saying ooh nasty at the end of each story.

Re:Forum Etiquette

I don't really mind the manner in which KM forum users post, even though 'text speak' does irritate me. As long as users are courteous and friendly, they are very welcome. Having said that, when posts are reasonably well-spelt and grammatically correct they are much easier to understand and more pl...

I was under the impression that skarkill's hair was wanted, by shaving it off and keeping it! Ah well...

Anyway how about other km haircuts? If I went for a km haircut I'm not sure what I would go for, or if I would go that far, a hordriss perhaps, with red stripes? ;D

Re:An ideal third level?

The corridor of blades in a minecart? Now that would most definitely be harsh. First the cart is demolished and the poor dungeoneer is toppled in a state on the floor, then the blades approach for left overs. :o
Now that would be..... need I even say the word.

Re:Titles

I think the cartoon title sequence remains my favourite, but I still enjoy the other one too.
This series 4 episode 5 title sequence I will watch again, as I missed it yesterday.

An ideal third level?

What would make the absolute best level 3? I remember topics on perfect knightmare, and the best series mix, but this time (along similar lines), I'm thinking what would make the greatest final stages of a quest. Here's some level 3 memories, to jog your memory: The medusa The gargoyle The cat statu...

Re:What annoys/irretates you (KM wise)?

I have to say that temporal disruption always annoyed me all those years ago (and it does a little now, but without it km wouldn't be km) simply because I knew I had to wait a whole week until next friday for it to come on again! So I used to watch the episode I had recorded again, and again, and ag...

Re:KNIGHTMARE VR

From the clips I've seen this looks really fantastic, the sound effects are more knightmarish than ever! The great thing about knightmare was the problem solving aspect (and just about everything else of course ;)), and it does make kids think (certainly made me think) much more than other shows dir...

Re:Boardgame

The boardgame is great fun- it typically features level's 1 to 3 with obviously three being the hardest. If memory serves me right I think level 3 consists of Merlin's chamber and having to answer many difficult riddles in order to obtain your quest object. Level's one and two feature series 1-3 cha...

Re:Here's a mad idea...

Take all the time needed, I think the grolsh approach is a good one. I look forward to the game (hopefully I won't be saying ooh nasty the moment I begin) ;)
