Re:Just so you know...

Do people here think Knightmare will get another run on Challenge after the next showing of series 8? After all, series 1 + 2 have only been shown the once so far.

There's no reason why it can't become a Challenge favourite - continuously repeated - like The Crystal Maze.

Re:Series 3 Episode 5

The Gargoyle's riddle was particularly difficult and it's not surprising Leo's team didn't know the answer. I'm sure most people wouldn't have known it at 15, or whatever this team's age is. It is kind of unfair, because they are a very communicative and confident team - they are quick to act and ac...

Re:Just so you know...

According to my calculations Moana, the first week of september will be at around episode 5 of series 5. Is there any news on what the time slots are likely to be?
I guess it's too early to know.

Re:Series 7 Episode 10

Does anyone think that this quest was distinctly more difficult than others in series 7, largely because they were older? I had trouble following the clues and plot myself - I certainly didn't tag on to what the team should have done in the stool room. This team definitely had the hardest job - a VE...

Re:Bring Knightmare back, the original, not like VR...

True, and I like the sound of a new, improved, deadlier Corridor of Blades. As I say, difficulty is all relative. There's no reason why the new KM shouldn't be as difficult as the original.

Re:Bring Knightmare back, the original, not like VR...

A dungeoneer that can see will surely have even harder challenges and obstacles to complete, and so the action and tension should all be relative (imagine the corridor of blades if the contestant can see - the obstacle would be useless!). The new axe room looks pretty nasty to me - impossible if bli...

Re:Knightmare Boardgame

When I was ten I tried to make a Knightmare board-game, a three tier one (one for each level). I used the middle of a kitchen roll to make a well from level 1 - 2. Obviously it didn't work, but still, the idea was there!

Re:Re-using characters

Lord Fear, Hands and Lissard should be technically dead anyway - having a ten tonne Troll landing on them!

Hopefully there'll be some great brand-new characters. Perhaps there could be a ghost of some sort - maybe a poltergeist.

Re:Re-using characters

What was it about the jesters you didn't like HStorm? I'm rather curious, because I particularly like Motley. Personally I'd like to see a jester in the new KM. They bring a small amount of light-heartedness into a very dark game. OK, some of his bad jokes aside, I think you always knew a dungeoneer...

"Please don't have anything 'techno' or 'nu-metal' though."

Uggh! That would be absolutely horrible. A complete no-no. Perhaps the new theme should have a similar style to the old one (ie - sort of neo-classical).

Re:Knightmare VR Demonstrator [re-post]

A revised 'varied' version of the KM theme would probably need the permission of Ed Welch, and even if it were possible not to pay him, it wouldn't be doing the man the justice he deserves. Whatever the new theme tune is, I hope it's as memorable and as loved as the original. Goblin names? - Ripper,...

Re:Hello from yet another Kightmare fan!

A good hello to you Slizergiy. You side with the powers that be, very wise. You'll find people real friendly in Knightmareland, hope you enjoy the deep philosophical debates that take place here. And the shallow pointless ones too.
Very strange name - I like it! How do you pronounce it?
