Challenge TV to show Knightmare this Christmas
Challenge TV to show Knightmare this Christmas
It has been confirmed that CHALLENGE TV have bought the rights to repeat SERIES 3 (1989) of Knightmare as part of their 'Cult Christmas' TV season.
This is certainly the best Knightmare Knews since the Sci-Fi Channel stopped showing Knightmare in October 1998.
More details and the transmission schedule should be available soon.
Challenge is available on cable and satellite. More information at http://www.challengetv.com

Re: Challenge TV to show Knightmare this Christmas
Yay!
I wonder if they still plan to make it part of the regular schedule, as they hinted on their board.
Hopefully it means we can stop checking their darn message boards with all the inane people constantly going on about their wretched chatroom and whether or not it should be brought back.
Great knews though

I'm so happy!
We will never see Knightmare repeated on television again
"Knightmare...next...."

Absolutely amazing!
Yes! it took 4 years for something to happen and it has! I think Knightmare.com deserves a breaking news banner plastered across it with champagne bottles and party poppers.
Bit of a shame i don't have Cable yet but i have the video, but theres nothing quite like watching it being aired!

Re: Challenge TV to show Knightmare this Christmas
Okay, campaign phase numero dos:
Make sure everyone on the entire planet of people with access to Challenge TV know about this, and that they tuen in to it, even if they don't watch it. That way, the show will get HUGE ratings, and they will consider showing other series, or buying the rights altogether.
Then, they would be able to bring it out on DVD or VHS.
Then, they could make a knew series!!! Okay, I'm getting carried away but a thousand mile journey begins with one step. This is it!
Also, if we could all phone within minutes of its first airing and tell them how brilliant it was, that could also help :)

Re: Challenge TV to show Knightmare this Christmas
Yes, it's interesting that they've only secured the rights for one series. From what they'd said previously, it looked like they'd get the full rights. I guess they decided to be a little cautious, and as Tom suggests, to see how the ratings go over Christmas. If the ratings are decent, I'd guess they'll try to secure the full rights. If it is advertised properly but still fails to pull in viewers, then we can't really blame them for not showing any more than Series 3.
Now we just have to help make sure that everyone who has access to Challenge knows it's on.
