Knightmare Pointless III
Our four players for this game are: newcomer Lex Luthor (hereafter known as Nick), Ben "Redthir" Fieldhouse (our runner-up from Game 1), Amy (our runner-up from Game 2) and Annie, the only player yet to find a pointless answer in normal gameplay (i.e. not the final).
The questions are about to go out for answering, so hopefully the game will begin soon.

I'm still waiting on a few sets of answers, some of which I intend to chase up after this weekend. I can promise you that the game will begin on Friday next week (28th) at the latest.

Wow, what a good idea (
) to do a subforum for this.

I might start the game on Friday or Saturday, but you can come along and post your answer on Sunday or whenever you are ready - I won't start badgering anyone for answers unless we get several days of inactivity.

Re: Knightmare Pointless III
Welcome to the third game of Knightmare Pointless! We asked all our Knightmare-related questions to 8 people, and now it's up to our four fabulous contestants - Nick, Ben, Amy and Annie - to find the most obscure answers they can think of. One of them will earn the chance to find a Pointless answer in the jackpot final.
A couple of important points to bear in mind:
1. For the purposes of this, "character" means any role that's been confirmed as having been played by a credited Knightmare actor, except uncredited, unnamed individual creatures/monsters.
2. The unbroadcast pilot episodes (from 1986/7) and Knightmare VR (from 2004) are not taken into account for any question.
Right, let's play Knightmare Pointless!
ROUND 1
In the first round, each of you will give me two answers. Whoever has the highest score at the end of the round will be eliminated. If you give a wrong answer, you will score the maximum of 8 points.
We gave 8 people 100 seconds to name...
CHARACTERS WHO "ESCORTED" AT LEAST ONE DUNGEONEER
So that's any character to have gone through at least one door/portal with a dungeoneer. This includes characters who have been carried as or inside clue objects.
Nick gets to go first - which is not necessarily an advantage, of course - so Nick, what is your first answer?

Nick says Gundrada - let's see what that scores him...
I sucked in my breath sharply when checking that score - it's a big one! Gundrada escorted a few dungeoneers through various parts of Level 2 during Series 4, as most of our answerers remembered. So, Nick scores 6 points.

Not a bad answer there, but I'd like to assure all four of our contestants that there are lower scores available in this round. Folly escorted Series 2's Julian into the deeper parts of Level 2 in a kind of blind date situation engineered by Merlin. Ben, you score 3 points.

Amy is next to answer, so whenever you get back from your holiday Amy, please post your first escorting character.
