Great Knightmare Mysteries

Post by Fidjit »

This one popped into my head when I asked myself:

"How does Treguard conquer the dungeon if it continually phase shifts? Does he do it before we see him again for a new series?"

If anyone else has a queiry please place it here
If the only way is onward how would you get home for tea?? :-/

Well, I don't think it was ever said that he conquered it every time it shifts. He conquered it in one of its incarnations, but that seems to also mean he'd conquered "it" when it's turned into something completely different.

Anyway, back to the topic.

What did Greystagg actually do to Lord Fear at the end of Julie's Quest in Series 7?

What were the Witches actually going to do with all that Witch Amber? I mean, it's a rock, as far as I can tell, yet Heggatty in particular seemed almost whipped into a sexual frenzy by the very thought of it.

How did Pickle end up in the Castle? Did he just walk in? Or was Treguard wandering around in the forest? If so, what was he doing? I have some ideas, but I'm sure you can all think of lots of reasons why a slightly shift bearded fellow might be out looking for a rather camp young fellow.

Who's the sneaky fellow who wanders around the Dungeon leaving Spyglasses around the place? Instead of trying to kill the Dungeoneers, Lord Fear should really kill off this person first. It would make the rest of the job a lot easier.

I'll think of more.

Didn't Treguard say Pickle was 'only there on sufferance'?

What is the strange disease that afflicts inhabitants of the Knightmare Dungeon, which has the effect of wiping their memory of having met a Dungeoneer just 5 minutes before? If it can be accurated diagnosed, perhaps Rothberry can apply a cure.

Giles quest: S4 T8

Why is it that I say I am not going to Level 2 to Giles in the Crazed Heffier, until he summons me to Ariadne's Layer which is in Level 2... Strange isn't it?

Where in the Dungeon is the 'Awful Headwear Shop'. There must be one somewhere specialising in particularly tasteless pieces, considering how many are on show. Why has it not been shut down by now?

A related mystery. Why does Captain Nemanor not fall over due to the immense weight of the strange thing he calls a hat placed on his head? Does gravity not apply on his ship?

I want to know why we see a character in one part of a quest, the dungeoneer say takes a flight or goes accross the Dunswater and then shortly afterwards we might see that character again. Was it just me or did anyone else notice that also. But an example is probably Elita. Didn't we sometimes see her when the dungeoneer was about to ride Smirkenorf, she didn't ride with them and then we see her shortly after the flight again, even though Smirkenorf had flown the dungeoneer miles away. Maybe I was half asleep during the programme and wasn't paying much attention to everything happening.

Elita and Smirkenorf probably just decide that as a joke he'll fly the dungeoneer round in a few circles, so their destination is only about quarter of a mile from where they started. And they even have to dish out a bar of silver or a firestone for it - clever trick!

One thing that's really bugged me is why after Ben won the Crown in season 6, the next team that comes along chooses to redeem the very same object and no-one says anything about it! Did Treguard get Pickle to put it back in the depths of Level 3 after all that effort?!

(This is my 1,000th post, everybody!)

Treguard kept dropping the crown and forgetting where he left it. That's why it had to be retrieved so many times.

Many Happies on your 1000th! ;D

Also, don't you think its strange that Pickle and Skarkill should both flit at the same time? Maybe they ran off together to form a Deep Ecology commune free of the restrictions that categories like 'Powers That Be' and 'Opposition' impose. Hmm...

Well I hope you finally managed to get your already-busted leg fixed anyway.

Love the metal bracelets by the way, but I'm not sure if they're really your colour.

Hey, Skarkers, you know what this is? *waves the lightning rod meaningfully*

And I belive the old Elvih proverb applies here. Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are small and taste good. Then again, in your case you'd probably give poor Smirky indigestion...
