Re: Three words.

I may get Festus set on me for this but here I go anyway: :D 'I am Merlin' = Mogdred (they don't even try to disguise his voice or appearance despite being on different sides of good and evil.) 'Wacky hair style' = Treguard (series 1 and 2) 'Neat hair style' = Treguard (series 3 to 8) (a noticeable ...

Face Screensaver?

We have a lot of goodies on this site for the PC (desktops etc).  Having just watched today's episode on Challenge though I thought of a great idea (if anyone is good at creating it).  The end credits ran through the entire original 'face' lifeforce system and I thought that it would make the cooles...

Re: Sundays Challenge? Episode

They are a bit better although their failure to get the first step from Golgarach might cost them dear (not that I want to give anything away to anyone watching for the first time of course  :)).  It is quite easy to tell which teams are going to do well or not actually, especially in the early seri...

Re: Sundays Challenge? Episode

Well, just watch the current team's death in Merlin's room; it was fairly amusing to my knowledge. Team 8 was just about the thickest team I ever saw in the history of the program.  They did so many things wrong.  Getting only 1 out of 3 in the clue room, going down the serpent's mouth when the corr...

Re: Did the assistants ruin Knightmare?

I think that the assistants changed Knightmare for the worse.  Let's face it, it was not a comedy show; the focus was on survival and exciting adventure.  Treguard by himself delivered the ideal suspense and created a great atmosphere for a gameshow set in a dungeon where survival was key. I found b...

Re: Your wildest dreams...

(Said in Treguard's etiquette covered style from the early series) Ah yes, Treguard, dungeon master salutes you.  To be the referee to a dungeon of illusion and trickery would be my role of choice of course.  Commanding and trading insults with calous elvish folk and annoying genies is worse than br...

Re: More life force topics

Yeah absolutely, the technology must exist now to make the face the same as that of the real dungeoneer based on photographs.  We might recognise some of the dungeoneers then because seeing some of the pictures on this site of the dungeoneers I can't remember what most of them look like but we see a...

Re: Greetings to all

That was a bit mean of them :).  Mind you I did try to scare my younger sister when I was watching it with her (she was also born in 1984) but she didn't believe anything I told her (wise gal :))!

Re: Greetings to all

I agree.  I first started watching it in series 2 and I still regard that and series 3 as the best ever because they didn't mess with anything, the dungeon was actually a dungeon :).  The lifeforce was soooo well crafted, a lot of thought obviously went into it.  I liked the way Treguard used to spe...

Re: Greetings to all

Yeah no probs.

Anyhow let's get back onto a topic for this forum.

What's your fave series / team?  Who's your fave - pickle or majida / mogdred or lord fear?  That kind of thing. :)

Re: Greetings to all

Yeah that kind of does the job and yeah Smirky is kinda cool.

I'll check your forum out anyway.  I'm more into the novel writing myself but I have tried a few plays (all been completely rubbish tho :)).  Time is the enemy though I find!!
