My reaction was "WHOA, Hugo lost the beard!" He looks a lot younger now because of it, though. Nice coverage, though - just when you think they've forgotten all about it, it sneaks in at the very end!
*slaps the voice-over guy for his "Wyatt" flub*

Re:Portal sounds
I like the "whoosh" noise that Broadsword used for its credit at the end of the episode.

Re: Oh...oh dear...
All I can remember of the Fun House theme is:
"It's a whole lotta race where anyone can race"
And I doubt those are even the correct words!
But I enjoyed Fun House when it was on ITV. Me being ten years old and all...

Re: Spoof Knightmare
Your sig gave me an idea - you have to have Mogdred appear and be really over-the-top - like, DEMANDING that they quail! People walking into walls is always fun. Do something with the pole that Majida uses to call people in - have her whack Treguard with it accidentally-on-purpose (could be a runnin...

Re: Teams with related members?
Hiya Jenna - it is Jenna, right? - and welcome to the forum! It's always nice to have ex-contestants in this place. I wasn't on the show myself - I was a little young. *does calculations* Let's see... I started watching in S5, that was 1991, and I was six years old - therefore I was nine years old i...

"You're in a small room. At the end of the room is a shiny crown, on a statue. Walk forwards..."
"Now, pick up the crown."
*BONG!*
"The bells, master! It's the end of the series!"
"I'm sorry team, we must recall Brian. Spellcasting..."

Mogdred in S3 wasn't very common - about three appearences, I think.

Re: Is that a JOCKY !!! ?
The S4 really young team - the male advisor had PINK TROUSERS. Sorry, but that's the fashion no-no of the last century.

Re: Least favourite!
The episode a couple of days ago, with that team in the dice room. Treguard: "You may have to take a gamble..." Advisor: "So, what do you think...(etc)" Treguard: "You gamble on a dice..." Advisor: "Aim for a six?" Treguard: "Just have a go!" I think...

Re: Least favourite!
That's because they're not actaully "walking" during the Eye Shield sequences - they were pre-recorded and inserted into the quests as needed. That's why Treguard sometimes seemed very urgent when telling the teams to "hold up the Eye Shield!" - because they had to make it seem l...

Re: Leo's Quest
Heh, I have a GSCE and AS-Level in Media Studies, and all my lessons have taught me to be a little too critical over the years. Though it's handy sometimes, I do tend to spot things that other people don't. I remember Treguard's "in the wrong order" bit - I always interpreted it to be &quo...

Leo's Quest
Leo's team seem to be having a rough time, don't you think? There were a great number of very close calls during their quest, and it was only by the skill of the advisors that Leo got away unscathed. Merlin's chamber provided a great hazard - at least one team has met their defeat in the vast pit, b...
