Just a few suggestions. I've suggested a rewording at one point. And corrected the spelling of "Granada".
OK, ive signed up with petitionpetition and here's the first set of info needed....i've put whatever suggestions i have down. any others welcome

Title: Bring Knightmare to DVD

Body of Petition: we've been writing this bit, getting prunned good and proper ;D

Brief Summary of Your Petition:  We intend to send this petition to Granada Enterprises to show them just how many people are interested in a DVD release of Knightmare, the classic children's adventure show.

Sponsor of Petition:  illusion, can i put http://www.knightmare.com as the sponsor? if i cant then i'll just use my name.
If Illusion didn't mind, I think that would be helpful, and was one reason why I thought PetitionPetition might be a better bet than PetitionOnline. It wouldn't mean any more work for Illusion, I should point out.
Recipients of Petition: Granada Enterprises / Granada Media (whichever its meant to be)

Launch Date: must be at least 2 days from now ( as in when i enter the petition)
I'd suggest a couple of days from when we decide on everything.
Expiration Date: no more than 60 days after the launch date
How about 60 days after the launch date? ;)

DVD? Yes, has to be done. I would love to hear some commentaries from some of the people involved, there has to be some cracking stories they can tell.

Good work on the petition, I'll sign it as soon as it's available.

Ummm, well I cant quite remember actually, Iwas just so happy to actually get back on the forum! hehe

I also cant believe how consistently funny everyone on this website is, you know that bored loo goers comment is STILL making me laugh!

'Bring Knightmare on DVD' is probably better than 'Bring Knightmare to DVD'.

Yeah, you can use this site as the sponsor.

Apart from that, I think the statement is fine.

Yeah, or even 'Release Knightmare on DVD'.

I forgot to add - the petition is for Granada Enterprises (which is part of Granada Media anyway).

erm...just been checking and i must ask...did i spell especially correctly in the latest petition statement?

edit -
We intend to send this petition to Granada Enterprises to show them just how many people are interested in a DVD release of Knightmare, the classic children's adventure show.
I'm using this improved version of the breif statement, cheers gg

edit2 - i'm also sending the petition to as many people who have been posting 'here' on the petition as have displayed their email addys.

edit3 - oww...should i leave the country field blank? or should i say UK?

Yes, sir.. especially is correct.

Just double checking (I'm bound to have missed it loud and clear somewhere) that there is a reference to the group's consensual knowledge that each individual series will be released separately / on separate DVDs (sets) - and not leaving the ambiguity open for GM/GEnterprises to assume we mean it all released in a single set.

I've been deliberatly careful about not dictating how the thing is released otherwise they'll think "well b*lls to this bossy lt". i've made it clear that we don't expect to get all 8 series on one DVD. i have made it clear we wish a set of DVD's which do cover all 8 series of knightmare. those are the most important thing. i considered banging on about putting in extras and releasing them all seperatly...etc but decided it sounded too pushy.

*wipes sweat off brow*

the petition has been submitted. it'll be sent to five people here (and me also) and as soon as i have the addy it will appear as my sig...everywhere i go. all my friends shall know. everything.

it can take as long as two days for the petition to be "accepted" by petitionpetition so now we sit tight for a couple of days.

Illusion...is a link on the main page out of the question? I just thought random passersby (who've increased in number since challenge brought out series 4) would sign. maybe it could be linked in somewhere near the BBK campaign?
