Hi Emily, nice to hear from ya as always. Though if you call me 'Skipdude' again, I may have to reconsider that statement. ;D

I would like you to scribble for me very much, but it won't be for a while yet. As mentioned on my own 'game' thread, I'm tied up for a bit (not in a particularly good way, either) and have had to freeze the project for a month or so. But when things get back on track, I'd love to have some of your work in the game, even just a nice moody pic for the main menu screens. I'll get back to you.

Keep it up keke, you're an inspiration.

working on the end of level 1 now. its just i have to make some rooms many times becuase of the clue objects you take and it wouldnt let me make them as objects and stuff(im not very advanced in code.) and after 4 rooms the dungeoneer can die 3 different ways already. ouch

hello all. time for an update don't you think?
Well firstly i've decided to erm release all three levels at the same time so its one quest. Level 1 is 100% complete and i am scared to go in it just incase i accidently edit something. I've just been working on level 2 at shock 20 past 1 until now creating some of level 2. Mogdred has made his first appearance even if it is totally random and just weird when it happens(i actually scared myself with the evil laughs of his and his evilicity). Anyways. i'm still aiming to keep the total download under 5mb which means the graphics are still nothing fancy(paint). Keep expecting nothing fancy from this game but im going for the quest playability side, instead of spending years trying to code it so you cant dissapear into tiny specks on the wall.....

Anyways. I've not done any of my coursework this summer so next week i shall be doing that but I'll keep working on it till then and from when i go back to school.
Thats about it really. beware of floating skulls....

ok i think i shall update. i havent done much for a while(coursework, work experience etc.) but i am about a quarter of the way through level 2. i've just done the choose your quest room which after spending hours trying to get it so the dungeoneer falls behind some parts and in front of others on the path, it still looks rather dodgy. I can't make it look any better and now im onto the next room. The rooms that slow me down are rooms with getting asked riddles in(voice acting is quite poor in this game but its great for a laugh) and so im just trying to get it so that the things appear and dissapear at the right times. Plus as the quest now splits i have to make some rooms twice if they appear in both quests but hopefully it will be good. Anyways im gonna try and finish this game before the end of the year but i dunno if its possible. I have 8 rooms doen and i have about 14 more to go but atleast i'll be working on it now. In fact i'll get working on the next room now. *goes off to game maker*

hello all. well i'm really busy with my GCSE's and i've pretty much forgotten about my kngihtmare game so i'm thinkin i might aswell put level 1 online as that's finished and it'll be years before i do anymore.
so i present to you a knightmare game possibly worse than the one on the spectrum, KM the castley thing....

http://home.ripway.com/2004-9/173202/KMLevel1.zip

Now i'll explain how to play better than i do in the instructions. Basically its not too good as you can dissapear into walls and things. so just stop pushing up if you're at a wall. if you carried on it'd ruin the fun.
Oh yeah you use the arrow keys to move the dude about. If you get a button on the screen thats like a dark yellow with black writing in then use the mouse to click it. It plays kinda like knightmare series 1 complete with hard to understand wall monster and annoying girl. Good luck (lol just remembered. IT'S REALLY EASY TOO :| )

oh and i scanned it for viruses and it had none. but it still might come up because its a .exe file. i'd have saved it as the gml but then you'd all need gamemaker to play it

Not bad indeed!

The only real problem I encountered was that the first wall monster voice seems to be corrupt, meeeeeeeaaaaaaannnninnng thaaaaaaattt iiiiiiiittttt'ssssss sssssssoooooo ssssssslllllloooowwww, you can barely understand the riddle, meaning I had to take a 50/50 guess (and, luckily, it worked). All other voices from then on were fine.

Still, all in all, it was pretty good- especially the bomb room, where you had to quickly (SPOILER)throw down the gauntlet(/SPOILER) before the fuse ran out. Gave the sense of urgency that the real show had!
