computer version

Post by markholmes1991 »

First time poster. After a period of 18 months reading I though its about time I did the honourable thing. With talk of the Knightmare board game doesn’t anyone remember the computer version release on the Amstrad 464 cpc? Memories?  :D

Hi Mark, and welcome.

I had the game on the good old Amstrad CPC 464 and its spanky coloured keyboard. As I've said before, I didn't think much of the game, and after a while decided it was much more fun to stone to death the old man in the first room.

Mind you Mindscape brought out a Knightmare game in 1992 for the Amiga that was GREAT! If you've got an emulator - Send me a message and ill try and hook u up with the roms. i know a few sites which still have the full version for download.

I didn't realise people still owned Amigas. I used to have two or three and was very sad when we got rid of them. I used to love a lot of the games. Do you need to connect an Amiga to the PC to get an emulator to work?
I can't remember owning a Knightmare game on it.

I was also wondering does anyone still have a spectrum, Commodore Plus 4 or 64, Amstrad or an old Nintendo or Sega Mega drive?

I used to have have a Commodore (Plus 4 I think). I can't remember if that was before Knightmare was ever shown then.

Yeesh.

If I remeber correctly, you have to pick up something, then 'open door' go through next area, then 'give item to man'

I cant get any firther, even in this age of enlightenment.

I like all those old computers, though my favourite is still the BBC Micro - ours at home is as old as I am and it still works. :)
