Man, some people just cant see the potential in shows. I reckon TV is in a state of shock ATM, there arnt very many Decent new shows out ATM, only repeats, Cheesy Talk Shows, and Rather Stupid Childrens shows, which bear as much intellect as a well dried peanut. Work their brains I say! Hyah!

This is sad news, I only just noticed it. But I understand te situation, and that Knightmare is not dead yet. However, it certainly means the project has taken a few steps backwards, having made lots of progress, or at least a concept which could have worked well.

I certainly hope Knightmare has a future still, and that something else can be worked out.. We must never give up, not now we've come this far.

One thing to add is that, although KMVR isn't going to happen, there is a huge and extensive KM back catalogue which really does need dipping into.

Anything can come back at any given time. Shows written off as being long dead have come back to massive success, it is never over, it is only ever preparing to come back. I feel it shall the day television companies stop pretending reality TV is the best thing to show on prime time slots. That day might be far away, sadly.

Either way Knightmare has been kept alive by everyone here for 6 years, and even longer in some sections.

Maybe KM is 'back' regardless, it is right here. :)

If 'exclude' is the opposite of 'include', then what's the opposite of 'increment'?

Given a few months we should be able to get the RPG back up and running! Best we can do for now. :)

Let's keep nice and smiley. :) No need for any nastiness - particularly in a thread like this.

I think what a few people are driving at is that there is no substitute for actual episodes of Km, despite the nice fact that Km has brought us all together here (with a full nod, wink and gratitude for Illusion for being responsible for providing the 'here' in question). :)

It's a pity that any new KM may be sleeping or possibly even in a coma, but to be fair we're always going to keep the original alive, so in my eyes Tim did a bloody good job first time round, and I applaud him for giving it another go.

Whatever happens in the future, we're all right behind him, yes?

*Emerges out of cave*

Ah, this is a shame- it was looking good, the pilot- particularly with all the familiar faces around.

Children's TV could still do with a good kick up the backside- or should that just be Dick and Dom (actually, musn't be too unkind to them, they did show Hugo Myatt...in a cage...briefly...looking a tad confused...)?

It's amazing that the general public (or perhaps in this case the big cheeses at television towers) will tend to favour the inane and idiotic. Look what's been top of the music charts, for example...*shudder*.

Keep faith, Lord Tim of Childshire, and hopefully you may find a big cheese willing to take the plunge. Until then, we've still got 8 classic series still being broadcast today.

Slightly off topic and just out of interest is there anything happening with Timegate?

Thank you, Mr. Micawber. :)

And, to echo the above, how's TimeGate getting on?

Darn it, I'm late as usual.

It's saddening to hear that the VR project has ended so soon, but high hopes for the future of Knightmare, as it deserves a ressurection.

I'd just like to thank Tim Child for creating such a great program that had me hooked in my childhood and then making the best attempt to bring it back.

Thanks for everything Tim! :)
