Just noticed another VHS!!! I didn't see the last one, but looking at the usernames and the descriptions, it's the same seller, but with two different accounts. Maybe rereading the items descriptions (I have a possible feeling) the person doesn't realise that selling the casettes are illegal. Mmm also looking at the KM related items, someone has 10 t-shirts they're selling.

It is always a good idea to message the seller, two cancelled their auctions when I informed them of what they were doing wronmg.

Some honestly don't know, it seems.

It beggers belief that eBay aren't doing this themselves. But, of course, they've legally protected themselves and the money continues to be raked in, so why should they? :S

There needs to be a huge shake-up of the practise of online trading. A regulatory body needs to be formed.

No thanks, don't want another RIAA doing the works on UK soil.

Although contrary to UK law I'll admit to condoning piracy but only in cases of non-profit making. There's a lot of rubbish around at the moment like on VHS tapes about how piracy helps fund terrorists groups. Anyway I'll shut up because otherwise this'll go wildly off-topic and onto a debate about if copyright laws fit todays society.

Seems as though this guy knows a lot...
That one sold for £63! This seller is interesting. He sold his KM tape, he is also selling cigarettes, adult movies and cannabis seeds....
Now, I don't like to gloat...what am I saying? I can't believe I just said that, dear me, what a little fibber I am. Of course I like to gloat...love it, something of a hobby.

Then presumably telling this seller what he was doing was illegal wouldn't make any difference.
Good night out there; whatever you are!

Well the same person (I think) tried to sell series 1 on tape. The auction had reached £30+ before it disappeared from the listings before it was supposed to end. So presumably somebody stopped this buyer.

I hate to see people making money off something like this, yet as has been stated the market is there to be tapped, and these people have jumped onto the bandwagon.

I'd love to see Knightmare again, I have extremely fond memories of the show, alas I have no means of getting it (I live in Sweden, so we don't get Challenge TV). I don't have any relatives in the UK with the channel either :( d'oh

I really hope a legitimate DVD set can be bought out soon so that I can finally get to see this show again.

Excellent site btw :)

Cool a Swedish member!

G'day mate Fidjit at you're service, what's it like there anyway.

Yes, eBay can be quite a common place for piracy, its sickening, deceitful, and absolutely out of the question. There is a pilot version of Knightmare VR on DVD if you like one. Get in contact with Tim Child (User: beveryafraid) for details

For now have a great time here!

Thanks for the welcome :) It's not too bad here in Sweden, still quite new here (1 year) so learning the language is a bit tough :) Pity I couldn't just spellcast it!

I downloaded the VR version a while back (from a source on this board); I think it was just under 30 mins in length? I still have it on the computer somewhere. Though it was a pretty good for the demonstration that it was.

The thing is - they will actually be DVD quality, as Knightmare Season 1 has been released on ed2k

www.shareprovider.com are showing links, as is a thread in www.the-realworld.de

Am pretty annoyed that he's trying to make money off the rips too :/

OK you've slightly confused me but the first part of it appears to be nonsense. Knightmare has NEVER been officially released on VHS or DVD. So any sales of KM episodes or series are pirated and the person selling them is making money and breaking the law.
