Just saw Hugo Myatt on Chuckle Brothers

Post by Future_Boy »

I was watching it this morning and he was on it playing a vampire count, he looked different without the facial hair but his voice gave him away, he even had an assistant with him who called him Master, but sadly it wasnt Pickle.

ps Don't ask why i was watching chuckle brothers or else i'll have to come up with some sad excuse.

What's wrong with Chucklevision? :)

I vaguely remember this episode... it didn't spring to mind that it was Hugo, but I do recall finsing out afterwards and thinking "was it? Maybe it was...".

I think we all know about him being in the children's programme with him doing pottery or something like that. :) But if you're wondering about what he's doing recently, pick up the Doctor Who audio adventure "Omega" and take a look at the cast listing. ;) (Which reminds me, I've still got to listen to that...)

Whats right with it?.  Not one Id list in the cool kiddies programs list.  Think Id stick this in with Bodger and badger in a pile of old mash.  Good to see Hugo in it though, everyone needs a job.

I noticed Hugo in a BBC2 schools programme a few months ago.  It was called Primary History or something like that.  The beard was present thankfully.
You remind me of all the other men I've met in my life. All helmet and no brains.

Hugo Myatt in Chucklevision (2000)

Post by Billy »

In the episode of Chucklevision in which Hugo Myatt played a vampire, Paul and Barry referred to 'The Opposition' at one point.

Something tells me the chucklevission one was a half-joke 'not destracting if you don't get it, nice if you do' kinda thing, rather than accidental.

Yeah - that sounds about right, Gizensha :) the little in-jokes are always the nicest, specially if they don't confuse others.

Hugo Myatt on Chucklevision

Post by Billy »

Just a quick heads up here- at around 8.40am today (Sunday 25th July 2004) on the CBBC Channel (that's the digital channel, not BBC One), they'll be showing the Chucklevision episode from 2000 featuring Hugo Myatt as a vampire. And at one point one of the brothers makes reference to The Opposition!
Yes, I know I should have told you this yesterday, but I've only got back from Birmingham. It's part of the 1 hour 'Chucklezone' they show at 8am and 1pm every weekend day (and 1pm every weekday). It'll be the third out of 3 episodes. Hopefully by the time you've read this it won't be way past that time!

Just a quick post to say that I've made a sound capture of the episode (I cannot capture video). I shall try and post sound clip later on, but I've got to work today.

Here's a link of some in-jokes (well I suspect they are)

[LINK REMOVED FOR NOW]
I shall be removing the clip & link tonight, and probably passing the file on to Illusion.

All in good time

Anyone know a free webhost company that allows you to upload music files to? I don't want to kill the bandwidth on my website.

Darn, Angeltowns give 2 out of 3 there, but for mp3s and the like it's a no-no unless you fork out $9.95 per lifetime.

Well, I suppose that isn't bad...in addition, for that you get 100MB and unlimited bandwidth.

And no, I don't work for Angeltwons, but they've been better than say, geocities for website providers.

Here are two pictures from the episode-

Now you know what Hugo Myatt looks like without a beard! These pictures used to be on knightmare.com, and are from the original BBC One transmission from 4 years ago. They aren't on the website anymore, for some reason (unless they've been renamed).
