Clifford Norgate in Doctor Who: The Horns of Nimon

Post by Kieran »

Just a quick note about Clifford Norgate on video.

You can now pick up the Horns of Nimon [Doctor Who story] in the shops for around £10-£12.  Our own Hordriss stars as the voice of the Nimon, made in 1980.  Very grouchy he sounds to!

Two BBC video clips of Clifford Norgate's voice work in 1980 Doctor Who story 'The Horns of Nimon':

I hadn't seen any of this episode before, so this was great to hear!

One of my least favourite stories (but that's for another area...)

Yet another link between the two shows. Clifford sure knew how to growl :)

I seem to recall The Horns Of Nimon as having the hammiest guest actor in the history of the series. A title it is some achievement to win.

"SOL-DEEEEEED!"

I re-watched Horns recently and it is hammy, and the Nimon are too busy trying to keep balanced on those strange platform 'hooves' to be threatening, but I like it. There's some good stuff in there too :)
