HI all, i've just joined your wonderful forum. Did anyone catch the christmas special the (k)night before last? what was the deal with randomly sending the dungeoneers home just cos it was chirstmas? v harsh. also have any of you guys been to any of the conventions and are they any good?

Hello Britney, and welcome to the Knightmare forums.

The episode of Knightmare you saw was not a Christmas special, it was merely the end of season 4, although a very odd end to a season of KM.

There have been NO KM conventions over the years, but have been many meetups of the fans, and some have contact w/ the actors in the show.

Every season saw the final team being sent home at the end due to lack of time (except for season 7 when the team HAD to win to save the dungeon), but none other had the Xmas theme but S4, which is what you saw.

Hi Britney,

How do you do, and great that you've joined the b-a-r-m-y a-s-s-a-i-l-a-n-t-s. Amazing how this show's popularity can only grow, isn;t it? I must agree, the season 4 ending was far too ... boring! We had some wonderful escapades in the later series, with the dungeon under a powerful freezing spell, red dragons attacking Knightmare Castle, and then a troll also trying to do the same - absolutely compelling viewing. Even 2 & 3, with dungeon 'disintegration' had more to them than S4.

Nevertheless, that's another pointer. Hope you enjoy your time spent on the forum. Laterz!

PS - I have to separate at the top or a get a load of junk - it doesn't like my overexercised mind dictionary!
