I'm just getting started

Post by LiamABC »

Hi all,

I'm Liam, creator of the Word adventure "The Ultimate Quest" and regular contributor on the Eye Shield. I've been a Knightmare fan for some years, but have only just joined the forum, and just thought I'd try getting acquainted.

Welcome to the forums! Make yourself some space on a couch somewhere and enjoy! :D
Many years ago I wrote fanfictions. Now I attempt to write sanely.

Welcome, Liam. It's a good day when a fellow Knightmare fan decides to put lurking aside. Here's hoping you won't regret it. :) Your next post will take you out of shocking pink knewbie status! [Edit: My mistake: knewbie status ends with the fourth post, not the third.]

P.S. For those who don't already know, Liam's gamebook can be played here.

Thanks all of you - and particularly Drassil for the plug! Well do I remember writing that game - the tricky bit was randomising the entries - once I'd written them all, I had to create a spreadsheet with all the numbers on from 1 to 517, and cross them off as I re-allocated each one!

Yes, hello and welcome to the Knightmare forums. I am dark Descender, romanticist, femenist, and here at the forums we all have one thing in common: We're all being blackmailed and nobody knows who's blackmailing us. Enjoy yourself.

Thanks again - it feels strange introducing myself to people who already know me by my works - a bit like in december when I met Mitch Benn, who played a song of mine on his podcast back in august.

Rather excitingly, you appear to be making a reference to a favourite film of mine - and a moment of career greatness for Jonathan Lynn that he didn't top {for years}. ;)

I'm now imagining Treguard making suggestions to stack the bodies in the cellar, lock it, leave quietly one at a time and forget that any of this ever happened.

Mrs. Peacock was a man?!

But yeah, it's always makes me feel good when someone gets the reference.
