I'm Rob, 22 and it's good to hear people are still taking about Knightmare. I can hardly remember most of it, although a certain dungeon did scare me (I was young at the time). It involved lightning and it blow up a chunk of the dungeon floor at a time.
Anyways although it's not a direct conversion but I'm tryign to make a Knightmare RPG game using the aura toolset from Neverwinter Nights. It involves the usual one room, one exit routine but most of the puzzles are entirely my idea.

It sounds like you are describing the Lions Head room from S2/S3, it would shoot lightning at the tiles on the floor, subsequently eliminating each one making it a little difficult for a dungeoneer to make it past!
