Hmm...I believe that WEB was given by Folly.

Amy says WEB - Folly. Let's see what that scores her...

WEB was indeed given by Folly, to Series 2's Chris for the purpose of trapping Cedric. Well done, Amy - that scores you 3 points, seeing you through to the head-to-head with Annie.

NICK
Answer 1 - 5
Answer 2 - X
TOTAL - 5

AMY
Answer 1 - 0
Answer 2 - 3
TOTAL - 3

ANNIE
Answer 1 - 2
Answer 2 - 1
TOTAL - 3

So, Nick, I'm sorry to say that you're out of the game. Thanks very much for playing, and hopefully you can join me for another game of Knightmare Pointless in the near future.

Here is the full board for the second pass:

Fidjit was the pointless answer there - that's the second time he's been pointless in this particular game, and none of our players have chosen him. Poor old Fidjit - what a nonentity!

Anyway, for Amy and Annie, it's now time for the head-to-head. Whoever wins this thrilling face-off will become our Knightmare Pointless champion, and earn the chance to find a pointless answer in our jackpot final. Unfortunately, I don't have any more Knightmare badges, so the prize will be an original copy of the first ever issue of The Eye Shield fanzine (from Decemeber 1995) signed by longtime TES contributor and editor Jake Collins. But you're not really playing for that, are you? You're playing for the glory! (And the fun, of course...)

ROUND 3 - HEAD-TO-HEAD

Amy and Annie - whichever one of you wins the best of three questions will be our Knightmare Pointless champion. Remember, I can only accept your first answer, so think carefully before you post.

We gave 8 people 100 seconds to name...

DUNGEONEERS WHO DIED ON LEVEL 3

So that's any dungeoneer whose quest came to an end on Level 3, EXCEPT undefeated teams who were on Level 3 at the end of a series. Annie, you have scored slightly less than Amy during the show so far, so you get to go first. Amy, you can post your answer as soon as Annie has posted hers - don't wait for me to say anything. NB: Please give your answers in the form of Dungeoneer's First Name (Series X), e.g. Mohammed (Series 10)

Notable for the pleasing double whoosh as the two of them enter the portal.

So, Annie wins the first question and takes a 1-0 lead. Let's see all the correct answers for that one:

RICHARD (1) - 5
ROSS (3) - 5
CHRIS (2) - 4
DANIEL (8) - 4
LEO (3) - 4
MARTIN (3) - 4
SOPHIA (6) - 4
ALEX (7) - 3
ALISTAIR (4) - 3
HELEN (4) - 3
NATHAN (8) - 3
SIMON (7) - 3
ALAN (6) - 2
SARAH (5) - 2

So the best you could have done, Amy, would have been to choose Sarah and tie the question - sometimes this game can be very tough! Now, let's move on to the second question. We gave 8 people 100 seconds to name...

CHARACTERS WHO INTERACTED WITH TREGUARD

To clarify, we're looking for any character who had at least one on-screen conversation with Treguard, or addressed him directly without him answering, or reacted vocally to something he said. Amy, you get to go first this time, and you need to win this question to draw level. Annie, please post your answer as soon as you see that Amy has posted hers.

What do mean by addressing him directly? Do you mean that they say his name in a conversation or something?

I mean they must have spoken directly to him, even if he did not reply. This does not mean that they had to have used his name, necessarily.

Okay, I'll choose Smirkenorff then.

Crikey! Two great answers there, but Amy pips it and levels the score at 1-1. Let's see all the correct answers for that one:

LILLITH - 7
FOLLY - 6
HORDRISS - 6
LORD FEAR - 6
MAJIDA - 6
MILDREAD - 6
PICKLE - 6
MERLIN - 5
MOGDRED - 4
MOTLEY - 4
VELDA - 3
GRANITAS - 1
MORGHANNA - 1
OLGARTH - 1
GIANT - 0
IGNEOUS - 0
MALICE - 0
SMIRKENORFF - 0

And so we move on to the third and final (unless it's a tie) question. We gave 8 people 100 seconds to name...

SPELLS GIVEN TO DUNGEONEERS BY HORDRISS OR MOTLEY

So that's any spell awarded to a dungeoneer by Hordriss or Motley. The spells do not have to have been cast before the quest ended, i.e. they could be unused. Spells given to other characters (rather than dungeoneers) DO NOT count. Annie, it's you to go first. Again, Amy can post straight afterwards.
