Jon Pertwee - 20 years gone but not forgotten.

It's no surprise to those community members I know well that my doctor was Jon. 20 years ago today we sadly lost him aged 76. He'd have jumped to be some part of the boom that is Big Finish after spearheading it's progenitor with the bbc on two radio plays. (See what I did there?) He'd have been equally keen to be part of the new series in some shape or form too. Not only the Doctor but Spotty in Superted, the titular Worzel Gummidge, the host of Whodunnit for the majority of it's run and a strong line of many memorable characters and voices.

Definitely one of my favourites too. <3
Wow, 20 years. I can vaguely recall seeing the news on TV but I don't think I fully appreciated what a loss it was at the time. Such a shame he wasn't around for longer. :(
