You ever noticed....?

One of the Fifth Doctor's companions, Vislor Turlough... If his hair was brown instead of ginger, he'd be the spitting image of the Eleventh Doctor.

If you can find an episode called Mawdryn Undead, watch Turlough in that. He has the same narrow, bony face, and slightly gangly quality. The characteristic movements of the eyes and mouth are also very similar.

Turlough is one of my favourite companions. The dynamic between him and the Doctor is genuinely fascinating, and something that I'm hoping will be attempted again in the new series.
