That gnarly old guardian Oakley
Gave the dungeoneer his coat free
Said the tree troll, "It's yours,
But you can't have the drawers!
- Osmosis has made them smell of pee!"

An ogre with no time for jesters,
Thought, "I'll clobber the next one who pesters!"
Along slidled a drunken Iokus,
Who just couldn't keep focus...
And got fed - once clobbered - to Festus.

Well done to the three who followed me, that's a good one (even if it doesn't quite scan at one point and "iocus" doesn't rhyme with "focus" [rather with "block us"]), and unlike many of the others more or less makes sense (not that they have to make sense, of course)! To proceed (slightly tricky, I hope):
The maiden they call Mellisandre

I recall Brother Mace pronouncing it to rhyme with 'focus', and I for one am not prepared to fault him.
And though I've never met Iokus (the jester from RPG5), I've heard his name spoken aloud several times to rhyme with 'focus' too.
Back to the limerick at hand...
She filled up a kettle

Must you? If so, there should be a rule against obvious rhymes.
