An update....

I've been involved in ongoing conversations with ITN, who remain open to the possibility of selling us the rights.
We still don't have any solid figures. At the moment, they're asking for a more in-depth explanation of exactly how we plan to operate. Only once we get the figures can we really start discussing prices and then determine how viable this venture will be.

A slight blow to our plans is that buying the rights on a per-episode basis is unlikely to be allowed. Instead, ITN are asking for a larger upfront payment than we had anticipated.

I've spoken to the investors, and this is not a barrier. HOWEVER, it does mean that we'll have to be more certain as to the viability of the investment before we can move. A situation that is best helped by continuing to bring people here and having them show their support in this thread.

Just thought I'd say, I'd be willing to buy legal Knightmare DVD's, especially if the quality was fantastic.

Has any progress been made on this?

I'm finding it difficult to keep the relevant people talking to me.
Every time I send them an email, I wait for a week or two, then I email them asking what's going on, then I email them again, then I offer to phone them....

If they think that I'll go away, they're wrong.

What we really need is a group of us sending individual letters/e-mails/etc to them.... That way it'll become more difficult for them to avoid the matter in question.

I'm happy to participate in this. Any other takers?

I was looking to buy Knightmare on DVD and was surprised that it isn't available. I ended up finding this website and would love to buy every episode on DVD I've even got my son wanting to watch it after showing him it on Youtube

I'd buy them. Knightmare was the root of my love for fantasy RPGs and the bets kids TV show of my childhood.

I think I just broke my chair by bouncing so hard for so long in anticipation of this.

In all seriousness though, I would seriously be straight up to the store if this was ever released. Or if it was a release in time for Christmas, it would be top of the list.
