Snowwiewolf might recognise this.
A1: "Walk forward..."
*whoosh*
D: "Where am I?"
A2: "You're in a room... actually, it's more like a forest, and there's a huge wooden building at the back chucking out smoke. Walk forward..."
All: "STOP!"
A3: "There's something huge and ugly coming towards you..."
T: "Warning, team. You are in the ancient troll woods. Legend has it that Lord Fear tried to have the woods demolished so he could build himself another castle, and the trolls have rebelled against him. Here they build all manner of machines designed to defend their land. But approach with caution, for though they can occasionally be friendly and useful, they can also be severely hostile if they think there's any chance you're an enemy."
Troll:
"Welcome to our factory!
What would you like to have?
Perhaps bizarre troll-devices
Or maybe an introduction to our industry..."
(Trollheim's Grott - Bizarre Troll Technology)
I've never worked out what any of the troll devices are, but it'd have been interesting to find out... especially if they made useful quest items. Possibly:
T: "Team, you must use what weapons you have!"
A1: "Use the bizarre troll device!"
*phoooooooooom*
*horde of Pookas disappears*
It gets better: the second Trollheim's Grott album contains Little Shop Of Scalpels, which I've been told Gundwada has been working at ever since she got the boot at the end of series 4...
Am I mad? If so, this is what three and a half years of PhD research will do to you.

The next degree above a masters, which requires (usually) three years of research.Snowwiewolf wrote: Excuse my ignorance, but what is this PhD?

Looting and pillaging...
...and pillaging and looting![/url]
Just thought I should make a final post here before I go to Norway for a week.
It goes without saying that if I should meet anyone even remotely like Olaf, you'll all be the first to know.
Håpla!

Re:Looting and pillaging...
And I'm back.
No Olafs, unfortunately - there are a lot of very hairy men in Norway, but none of them are as ginger as Olaf.
Still, the rest of the trip made up for that minor disappointment...
