The Knightmare Ball
If any of you listen to “I’m Sorry I Haven’t A Clue” you’ll know that the panel if often asked to announce the guests at a particular ball. The aim of the game is to come up with funny names related to the topic, in our case Knightmare.
An example (“The Builder’s Ball”) can be heard here:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/comedy/clue/clips/ ... sball.html
(It sounds better if you say them out loud)
So, it’s time to announce the late arrivals at the Knightmare Ball…

Please welcome Mr. and Mrs. John-Ear, and their son, named, of course, after the J.K. Rowling character, Mundungus, known to his friends as Dung.
Followed closely, ladies and gentlemen, by Mr. and Mrs. Vreeching and, named for the film, their pet fish, Wanda, and their parrots, rather unsteady on their perches all just back from the vet suffering from loss of feeling, so don't step on them if they fall off. Tread carefully: the numb Macaws sway.
And here comes a couple with Norman blood, Sir Simon and Lady de Steppeleft, though the baronet is very informal and known to his friends simply as Si.
And, bringing up the rear as ever, Mr. and Mrs. Bennett-what-sort-of-life-force-clock-do-you-call-that-cake and their son Gordon.
