Just an idea

Post by JamesA »

Hi Nic

I had a bit of trouble accessing the site earlier (another potential goblin invasion?) - I tried using the forum URL as well but that didn't seem to work

Upon visiting the old Network 54 forum however I noticed that it's still up and running perfectly fine and would like to suggest that we can use it as a back-up forum just in case this one temporarily goes down again

I'm only suggesting this as the webmaster of another site I visit has a back-up forum for emergency purposes

Cheers

Yup the Network54 one is the back-up, although I think even the older Bravenet forum was probably better than that  :D

This knew forum is still under test purposes until further notice. I'm still sorting out a couple of issues with the hosting company.

Ooh, I didn't realise it was still there! Um, could someone give me the address to the old forum? There's a post I wanted to copy and paste, if that's okay.

Going back there, it feels like a ghost forum now. And I'd forgotten quite how evil it could be to navigate.

Found the old rant. It was only a paragraph long. It pales into insignificance compared to some of my recent ones. ;)

I never really did like the version of the forums before this one.

These were down again today for me, and the site itself, although it may be my PC, I wouldnt be surprised.
