Good episode today - I liked when they asked Daniel to jump on the trapdoor to try and open it ;)

Other good moments were where Stiletta does 'target practice' on Sylvester Hands, causing Hands to duck!
What was that game that Lord Fear and Lissard were playing in the spy-glass scene? Some dungeon version of Monopoly? ;D

The ad break seemed a bit abrupt, interrupting Brother Strange just as he's going to open the trap door...

Was Snapperjack really that annoying when I saw it before? :P With Snapperjack, you can't really tell if the dungeoneer got a question right or wrong since he just says something like "Smart or not so smart". Should have said 'Truth accepted' or 'Falsehood' like the old wall monsters. You only find out at the end of the interrogation when he says "Two gets you through"/

Some classic lines today, including "The bells, lordness, the bells!" "Yes, if you hadn't noticed that's a BELFRY up there"

It says in the 'team interview' thing that they had to cut out about two dozen "Oh God"s, since CITV didn't allow swearing or blasphemy on any of their programmes. Yet I clearly heard Gideon saying "Oh God!" several times, especially in the fireball room!

Indeed- they left in a 'Damn' from Simon in Series 7 (the advisor in Barry's team) too.

Liked the new recap bit at the start, and the CGI spellbook. I suppose the old Commodore Amiga status bar would have looked a bit out of place. Do you think Paul Valentine was ill/on holiday that day? The Sly Hands Spyglass bit would have been pre-recorded, and we never saw his face in the room with Stiletta, meaning a member of the production staff could have donned his costume and pretended to be him. They did it all the time in Doctor Who. Anyway, this team are now in Level 2, after a Spyglass sequence where LF and Lissard seemed to be playing Monopoly Knightmare Edition on an obviously empty table, and a room where fireballs KILLED the tiles beneath Daniel (as one of the advisors said!). In the trapdoor room we had Brother Strange...wasn't the riddle given the same one given by Barry in S7? Oh well. Goth's in Level 2 now, which makes things even harder, and Snapper Jack is a nice throwback to the 3 riddles characters of old. I'm not entirely sure how many they got correct- he said that you need to answer 2 correctly to get through, but I was under the impression that he got all three correct. Anyone know for sure?

I liked the banter between Lord Fear and Maldame during the spyglass sequence.

I think they only got 2 right.

Because I'm sure Tom The pipers son didn't steal a pig.

Tom Tom the Pipers son, stole a pig and away he ran... It was probably as Gideon said, the Dodo one.

But I thought SnapperJack clearly Said they got 2 right, but I was sure he got all 3 right, Oh well I dunno.

Good Episode though, I did like the " Jump up and down on the trapdoor to get it open" quote ;D

Whats up with Gideon, He keeps acting all excited, and looks like he is about to blow a fuse. Calm Down lad.

Good stuff so far, roll on tomorrow for more

not bad but seems Little slow.. not enough tension just yet.. mind you it took season 7 3 eps to make an impact.
great settings, and don't we have two sections of level 3?

The skeleton things were great... looks like it was inspired from the life force, and the 'Iron maiden' is very smiler to malice in many ways,

I suppose everyone noticed they were Jews...

Personally these guy got on my nerves with their, "Oh God's"

Not getting out of Stilleta's way, asking for advice without introduction. And when they do get their plesantries out of the way, they urge her for advice again...

I thought that was rather cheeky don't you?
If the only way is onward how would you get home for tea?? :-/

Best line in last night's episode:

Lord Fear: I love it when you talk dirty to me.

(Or at least something similar!!)

I have to agree about the current Team, they are getting on my nerves. The kid in the middle does appear to be on the verge of fuse-blowing!!!
Now, I don't like to gloat...what am I saying? I can't believe I just said that, dear me, what a little fibber I am. Of course I like to gloat...love it, something of a hobby.

Probaly doesn't have one.

Anyway Lord Fear was great in bothe Spy Glass sequences.

Level 2 just got alot more harder with Goth as it.

That bit in particular made me laugh. I wonder if Gideon (main adviser dude, ya can't miss him) was told to calm down in between scenes - his voice started off quiet, but increased in volume as they got further through a room.

Also, skeletrons! My favourite character from way back when, though I seem to recall them being taller and a lot more threatening. Still, it is pretty cool when they explode, in't it?
