Re: Series 5 Episode 11 (Wed 12th) - CORRECT HEADI

Post by Moocowthingy »

But what a bloody cheat.. they should have NEVER gotten the password.. i can not waite to see them die. the blocker should have killed them off..  i just can not believe it..   it just meens any team taking the quest wont need to worry about getting questions right or wrong as they will get the results anyway...

A couple of facts to take into account here.

1: In previous series 1 correct answer was always good enuf to get the basic info needed to progress a little way.

2: Perhaps the next teams taxi had been hijacked by terrorists and therefore they wernt THERE meaning this team had to be let off.  Im now realy wondering how many times this happened.

Also its very childish but did no one else spot the hilarious line in this episode ????????.  Ohh COME on you must have noticed it on Smerky's back?.  " Now turn round and come over the seat ", me and my wife were in fits for ages, sounds like a Porno director.

I remember Simon s4 being let off with Oakley by not being asked any questions and being guided on what to take. That could have possibly been a case that the Vicky's team were not ready yet (I can't see the case of them not having arrived though being from *Wymondham* [correct spelling], which is not far Norwich, unless they were from the other Wymondham though.

Yes, me too. We already know of a few cases, but my instinct is that there were several more. There's certainly more teams who were let off despite obvious mistakes, and probably more we're not aware of because their mistakes on floor puzzles and such have been edited out.

The first causeway Series 5 Team 2 encounter is a classic example. You don't actually see Richard their dungeoneer go through the exit, presumably because 1) they had made a huge mistake somewhere at the end of the causeway and 2) it was so early on in their quest (straight after they had taken objects in the previous clue room).

Game Oned in a forest, and after a Spyglass sequence in which Pickle let off the magnificent "He's got spies in the back of his head" pun, met Gwendoline- and in a neat throwback to the old series, asked three riddles! Although they only got the first correct, she noticed Alex had the token (the green arrow) and so gave them the blocker password.

Remember that book Hordriss gave them? Well, after Sly 'ands had a look at it, through the magic of sorcery he turned into a hobgoblin! Progressing to level 2, the episode timed out in a room with Hordriss and Elita.

I think that they should have died on level 1. Gwendolin clearly stated that they needed to get two out of three correct to get the password. They got one out of three, so therefore shouldn't have got the password - and been eaten by the Level 1 blocker. But instead Gwendolin said they were trying, and gave them the password anyway!

I wonder about the book scene - when Sly turned into the hobgoblin, did he run and put a mask on? Or was it digitally added?

With the causeway, it was almost like there was an invisible Frightknight timer (next series?) to hurry them up. They just died a split second before stepping onto the next tile, so the production team probably wanted to kill them off for previous mistakes.

Nice to see the Sheild is being looked after, the Powers that be have gone and hung it on a wall!

Getting a password with one out of three? That wouldn't have happened under the old regime!

So when were they let off then?

Team 6 seemed to get a let-off early on. Gwendoline stated that Alex must score at least 2/3 answers to get the password. Only scored 1/3 but Gwendoline agreed to help him anyway, as he carried her arrow, but she noticed the arrow before she told him he needed 2/3. ???
Amusing moment when they gave Sly Hands the book from Hordriss and Hands turned into a goblin. ;D
Finally a scene where Sir Hugh actually served a useful purpose, sending the shifty Skarkill packing. :)
The team used clock-face directions quite neatly to move Alex across the causeway.
Encountered Elita at the end of level 1. (Much predictable abuse of dungeoneer.) Elita has certainly livened this series up so far. :D

In the clue-room they asked Treguard if the jam-jar was food and got told, "No, you can't consume a bottle." ;D
Just before time-out, they discovered that poor Elita had just lost her voice. :'( What are we gonna do for dungeoneer abuse now?
