The name Dickon Hares

Post by Gwion » Mon Jul 14, 2003 10:39 pm

Just had to mention this seeing as this quest has just started on Challenge.  ;D

Watch out for pickle saying "Dickens got the horn!" (Did that make it to air?) :o

No, they didn't air it. They must of cut it out! That would be so funny and on a kids programme (Pickle you dirty Elf!) My god, what a name to give your child! Dicken Hairs! How did they not know, thats child abuse! hehehe!
Poor kid. I wonder if he changed his name? Even Pickle said pardon! thats saying something. Oh well even with a funny name he is our hero. Afterall he won it! I think that team got it easy though. Oh well, does'nt matter, they won!

It was a silly thing to cut out, really. Unless you're one of those people who see innuendo in everything, you wouldn't make a connection.

I thought it was Hess too. That's a surname, I don't think Hairs is.

I knew a Neil Downs.  Not quite as funny but at least not many people have names like Bob Geldof or Jonathan Ross' children.
Truth will out. Ah yes. Truth will out and so will you.
